In Virginia, they manhandle and arrest a dad protesting the school board's approval of boys in girls' bathrooms. Then the Superintendent of the district was fired.
In Vermont, a school district paid $125K for suspending a student AND her father/soccer coach for speaking out about boys in girls' locker room.
In Idaho, where the schools have not yet learned the lessons (above), a graduating senior was barred from the graduation walk....
...Kellogg High School senior Travis Lohr took part in an activity where seniors share advice for lowerclassmen. In a departure from his preapproved remarks, Lohr spoke from his heart, saying, “Guys are guys and girls are girls. There is no in-between.”...the leadership of Kellogg High School seemed to think it was unacceptable. Principal Dan Davidian informed Lohr that he would not be allowed to walk in his graduation ceremony on Saturday.
Then the school fired a bus driver for attending a demonstration supporting the student.
Apparently that school district's board needs a good kick in the ass. It worked in Waukesha!
We'll see what happens. Some school districts will drag out any litigation for as long as they can, to beggar and demoralize those who would act against them. And I wouldn't be surprised if they started to defy any court rulings against them - districts have been known to do that as well...
ReplyDeleteI also think this Sheriff would not be afraid to use her deputies to block other LEOs from enforcing contempt orders...
ReplyDeleteThe law ,like U.S. sanctions against Russia will teach SOMEBODY but not the one intended to be hurt. After the COVID induced long line of graduation cars wasting fuel, it becomes obvious just WHO benefits. But walking across that stage would have never been forgotten. I never forgot!
