Ukraine Abandoning Bakhmut

We mentioned below that the Ukraine Army in Bakhmut is surrounded by the Russian Army.

So Zelenskiy is getting out of Dodge.  His troops?  They won't be that lucky.

A Ukrainian presidential adviser on Tuesday said troops may “strategically pull back” from the town of Bakhmut, the focus of intense and brutal fighting for the past few months.

Alexander Rodnyansky told CNN the Ukrainian army has not yet pulled out of the city, but Kyiv may soon decide the cost of holding Bakhmut “outweighs the benefits.”...

Actually, Bakhmut is the last redoubt before the Dnieper River.  His position is deteriorating by the week, which is why he attacked inland Russia with a flock of drones yesterday.

That won't stop Putin.  Zelenskiy will now learn what happens when you smack the bee-hive.
