They attacked Donald Trump--and continue to do so--so that their war-mongering/empire-building games can go on. Too bad about all those dead bodies, but they have stuff to do!
Watch for Norm Eisen, Samantha Power, Victoria Nuland and her husband Robert Kagan, and George Kent. They employ various Useful Idiots like John Kerry, John Bolton, Charlie Sykes, and Karl Rove, not to mention Bill Kristol and the entire staff of National Review, to push their propaganda.
But if you want the short version, they love war against Putin. Iran, Georgia, and the Saudis are also on their list, but that's for the future.
