Paul Ryan, the guy who fled Janesville as soon as he could, knows stuff. Like "Proper Conservatism."
Here, goaded by Three-Wives Sykes (a guy who played a conservative but didn't mean a word of it), Ryan rhapsodizes on the Fox News network. You'll note that he doesn't like Tucker Carlson:
...I think that was probably just Tucker,” Ryan said. “I can go four times as long about other stuff that I think are really good that are on there that are being advanced, and voices that are being heard on Fox News that are giving voice to what I would call proper conservatism properly understood. So it’s a long process, a big institution, but I do want to make sure that we get the conservative movement in a good place in America again.”...
That 'good place' would be back in the country clubs and far, far, away from the hoi polloi that voted for PJBuchanan and (shudder) Trump.
Then he goes for a colossal lie:
...“We should talk about Fox News for a moment…because Donald Trump, sitting down at Mar-a-Lago, is convinced that you are pulling the strings at Fox News,” Sykes said.
“Yeah, I could care less,” Ryan said....
That's a flat-out lie.
Ryan has spent 6 years pissing and moaning about Trump to anyone who would listen, plus lots of doorposts, fire hydrants, and homeless hoi polloi who lost their livelihoods to "Proper Conservatism" as defined by Paulie's China-Loving Chamber of Commerce. He's done all he can to squash MAGA and Trump, even stamping his widdle feets and threatening not to show for the Pubbie Convention if Trump is the nominee.
So he cares. A lot. Because Trump showed him exactly why Paulie-Boy is a loser.
Here's a clue, Paul: You lost because "Proper Conservatism."
