Therefore, in addition to the 30.9 cents/gallon gasoline tax, peasants will pay tolls.
Tolls are supposed to make up for electric and hybrid cars which do not pay gasoline taxes.
So.
If you own a gasoline or diesel vehicle, you will pay fuel tax AND tolls.
If you own an electric or hybrid, you will only pay tolls, plus a very small fee.
It is the wish of King Robin and his merry band of RoadBuilders Highway Bandits. Therefore, it must be done.
