BLS, or Just BS?

Bureau of Labor Statistics came up with a number pleasing to the Ruling Junta.

...in June US payrolls rose by 372K, smashing expectations of a 268K increase, coming well above the whisper number of 245K, and trouncing Goldman's preferred payrolls range of 175-250K....

Yes, but.......

...while the establishment survey printed a red hot +372,000, the household survey showed just the opposite, tumbling by -315,000....

Who you gonna believe?  Your next-door neighbor participant in the household survey, or the joke called "Marty Walsh"?

Lots more at Ticker's place.  He discovered the 600K Bachelor's degree-holders who flat-out disappeared from the numbers altogether.  They were all vaccinated, too! (I might have made that last part up.)

Two weeks before the 2020 general election, on October 21, 2020, Donald Trump issued an executive order (E.O. 13957) on “Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service.”
