Buy Candles. It's Going to Get Dark

The FedGov's regulations surrounding nuclear-power plants age--which mandate closing or horrific costs in re-habbing--persuaded Entergy to close their 811-megawatt nuke just north of St Joseph, MI.

So?

Well, it so happens that on the very day of that closing, the Midwest power grid authority (MISO) announced that there would likely be blackouts all over the Midwest this summer.

Why?

Because there is not enough power being generated.

You can send your thank-you notes to Joe Biden, Poopy-Pants President.  Or to the Nuclear Reg commission.  Or to Entergy for Gutless Decisions Above and Beyond (etc.)

Then buy candles.  Lots of 'em.

"Not Guilty." You're Surprised?

The "not guilty" finding in the Sussman seditious conspiracy case is not a surprise.

It was a sham trial, complete with a jury of Lefties.

Just what Durham wanted.  Now he can say "See?  I did my job.  There's no there there!!!" and retire.

Milwaukee Archdiocese Has Bad Company

The "80% Coalition" claims (erroneously) that 80% of Wisconsin residents want more gun control.

That may not be true; after all, the number is four years old and the question is very poorly worded, to be kind.

Anyhow, here's a partial list of the members:

...Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Bishops Against Gun Violence, Brady: United Against Gun Violence, Community Coalition for Quality Policing, Crusaders of Justicia, Doctors for America, Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee, Felmers Chaney Advocacy Board, First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, Forward Latino, Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA...

(You can find the entire list at this link.)

Any time you are on the same list as the Unitarians, ELCA, and the Episcopalians, you should double-check what the Hell you just signed.  Retract the signature.

Then ask for your money back, Excellency.

The Gutless, Brainless, Cave-in on "Red Flag"

Bonchie is of the opinion that the GOPe is going to cave on "red flag" law.

...it appears “red flag” laws will be the major concession by Republicans going forward. Yet, putting aside the constitutional issues at play (due process), my primary aversion to the idea is simply that they don’t seem to work, at least in regards to mass shooters. New York has an extremely broad red flag law. It didn’t stop the Buffalo grocery store shooter just a few weeks ago....

To review:  "red flag" law allows law enforcement to confiscate all your weapons based on an a "tip" that Joe Blow (or Susie Smith) is 'dangerous.'  There is no due process; maybe you can get your guns back after a court hearing, but it's not a hearing subject to the 4th Amendment; it doesn't require a defense lawyer (public defender) and it has no "speedy trial" clause.  You will be defenseless AND maligned.

If you think that's kind of Stalin-esque, you hit the analogy jackpot.

So that ex-spouse who holds a grudge?  The employee you fired for theft?  The neighbor who thinks his dog can crap on your yard?

Yup.  They're all eligible tipsters.

And the gutless, brainless, GOPe, led by two major Deep State players (Turtle and California Boy) will sell you out for Good Press.

CDC Disinformation. Surprised??

Did CDC lie about children using masks?

Of course they did.

...More county-level data on American infection rates and mask mandates has since become available, and two Toronto scientists have taken the opportunity to replicate the study, looking now at 1,832 counties. In a turn of events that will surprise nobody, they find that the larger dataset shows that mask mandates actually do zero, and that prior findings were almost surely an illusion disinformation....

Gee.

... the Toronto authors point out that the original CDC study only considered infection rates through the second week after schools reopened, which turned out to be “exactly the peak of school case numbers for [their] sample of counties.” This obscured the fact “that cases quickly declined in later weeks and did so faster in counties without mask mandates.” Even the smaller sample used by the CDC study, in other words, showed no difference in masked vs. unmasked counties by the six-week mark. In the replication, with a much bigger dataset, maskless counties never lead infections at all...

CDC lied.

FBI lies, CIA lies, CDC lies, Fauci lies, POTUS lies, Congress lies, State Department lies A LOT....

Why do we pay these people??

+McElroy To Get Flaming Red Hat

Given what we know about Pp. Francis, this is not surprising.  It's another sign.

Now let's see what  +McElroy has written defending a book written by his good friend, J. Martin, SJLBGTQ.

...The coordinated attack on Building a Bridge must be a wake-up call for the Catholic community to look inward and purge itself of bigotry against the L.G.B.T. community…chastity is not the central virtue in the Christian moral life. Our central call is to love the Lord our God with all our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Many times, our discussions in the life of the church suggest that chastity has a singularly powerful role in determining our moral character or our relationship with God. It does not.”...

All--repeat--ALL virtues descend from 'love God with all our heart (etc.)'  One can say that 'love God' is prima inter pares, but without love for God chastity is a tinkling bell, and one without chastity does not love God.

So the Cardinal-to-be may play all the word-games he wants, including the silly "under attack by bigots" slander.

And, trust me, he'll continue to play those games.  Be prepared.

HT:  Non Veni

The Fools in the C-Suite

News item:

BLM founder Patrisse Cullors paid the father of her kid $969K, her bro $840K, her wife Jamaya Khan of BLM Toronto US$8mil (for real estate). Cullors is an ‘unpaid volunteer ‘ with 4 new homes worth US$3.2mil.

And here's the partial list of companies who shoved money into that toilet:

Doordash, Amazon, Gatorade, Microsoft, 23andMe, Airbnb, Unilever, Nabisco, Fitbit.

Expect a shareholder revolt?

Nah.  The idiots will continue to pilot their shareholder value into the sewer.

Look at PPP, not GDP

It's a side-note in a longer essay on the current world war (disguised as a regional conflict) but it's a side-note worth noting.

...I have pointed out for years that all discussions of the Russian economy in terms of nominal GDP are bogus. Nominal GDP is spending within the Russian economy converted through the RUB/USD exchange rate.

But that metric is irrelevant. It doesn’t say anything about what that spending buys the average Russian.

GDP is a stupid metric. It should be called GNS, Gross National Spending. It is a dumb way to measure the ‘output’ of a society. It’s at best a very gross approximation but it is, again, just aggregated spending.

This is the fundamental fallacy of Keynesian demand-side economics and all theories about which economies are expanding or contracting based on spending are literally bogus.

But we have all been trained to believe in GDP as some all-powerful measure of growth and power. It’s not anything of the sort. When you have the ability to print money at will to bid up the cost of the goods purchased with that money, how is that telling you anything about the health of the country, the people… or frankly anything at all?
...Luongo quoted at Wauck's place.

He would prefer PPP (purchasing power parity) which is measured based on 'bang for the buck.'  Example:  the ruble.

...Kopylov explained that the strengthening of the ruble is due to the fact that it is now based purely on exports and imports, and its value is determined by its purchasing power parity (PPP). The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimated the Russian currency’s PPP at the end of 2021 at 29.127 rubles per one dollar. According to the Big Mac Index, that rate stood at 23.24 rubles to the dollar....

Whereas measured by GDP, the ruble is 66 to the dollar.

Hmmmm.

Don't Like Trump? How About Mark Robinson??

This guy--a trained Baptist preacher--can rain down hellfire without using a lighter.

Every bit of that 12 minutes is great stuff.

Zelenskiy Admits the Truth

Gee, it's almost as though his "Baghdad Bob" imitations weren't true, or something.

...In a Saturday night speech Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave his most dire assessment to date of the status of Ukraine forces in the eastern Donbas region, where for over at least the last two months Russia has concentrated its forces, following the Feb.24 invasion of the country. Saturday marked the 95th day of the conflict. He described conditions there as "indescribably difficult" in what marks a notably pessimistic shift and negative tone for the Ukrainian leader, strongly suggesting the fall of Donbas - or at least whole regions such as Luhansk - could be imminent....

Did he give that speech from his dacha in Israel?  Florida?

How far could $40 BILLION take him, Senator Johnson?

Even More on the Fraud of '20??

Egads,

This guy Phillips is a sober-sided kinda guy, despite the beard.

Now he drops another nuke.

...We have a few issues coming up that are more explosive than the (2000) Mules, that are more likely to divide this country even further. Catherine and I spend a lot of time every single day really not just praying through it, but thinking through, how do we actually do this? Because once these come out, there’s one in particular. It’s a multinational deal. It involves billions of dollars.

There is irrefutable evidence. We’ve been involved in a major counterintelligence operation that’s very mature in this country, involving federal agencies and us. And there’s been some betrayals along the way. There have been some issues along the way. But once we get to the point where this is ready to go, it’s going to make everybody forget everything about the mules, and it’s going to bring into question everything we think we know about these elections. Everything. I can say that with 100% certainty....

Frankly, we're very interested in the names of the Wisconsin non-profits which distributed pre-marked ballots to the mules for emplacement into the drop-boxes that Vos and Fitzgerald approved.  That'll be a good roadmap.

But international?

You can almost name the suspects there.  Is Boris Johnson in on it?

Artificial and Not So "Intelligent"

So you like the idea of "artificial intelligence," which Gates and the Googleoids are pushing as the next salvation of the world?

Hate to ruin your day, but....

Texas school officials had been monitoring students' social media prior to the deadly shooting in Uvalde Tuesday, it has been revealed - but still failed to pick up on concerning posts from the teenage gunman in the days leading up to the tragedy....

... Uvalde School officials say they had been monitoring its students' social media pages using an advanced AI-based service called Social Sentinel, designed to recognize signals of potential harm found in digital conversations.

The district revealed Monday it had been using the platform 'to monitor all social media with a connection to Uvalde as a measure to identify any possible threats that might be made against students and or staff within the school district.'...

That crap was as good as the Uvalde "Police" Department.

Notorious BabyKiller 'Mourns Dead Children'?

Oh, that's rich.

Biden is expected to arrive in Uvalde at 11 a.m. local time. He and Dr. Jill Biden will first visit the memorial site that was set up outside of the school to honor the victims. They'll then attend services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where late last week a special mass was held in honor of the 21 victims....

See, baby-killing is good.  And bad.  Depends, you see.

"Mourning"?

Nah.  It's showtime!!

Chisholm's "Success"

So far in 2022, homicides are 26% greater than in 2021.

And 2021 was a record year.

This is what John Chisholm predicted--that there would be 'more' killings under his system.  Thanks, John!

But he's not the only problem.  Under the Wisconsin constitution, bail/bond is fairly easy to obtain.  Legislation has been introduced to change the terms of bail/bond in Wisconsin to allow more detentions of serious repeat criminal offenders awaiting trial.  It's not going anywhere this year, of course, since Vos & LeMahieu want 'political points' ahead of the election.

See, solving problems is NOT the business of politicians.  Getting re-elected IS the business.  So there are dead bodies.

Ain't this great?

Hey! Senator Johnson!!

Gee, Senator!  Didja think of this?

The Usual Lies--and Liars--on "Mass Shoots"

John Lott is the leading expert on gun crimes.  Period.  Here's a 2017 interview on Mass Shootings.

Q:  Last year, President Barack Obama claimed, “We are the only advanced country on Earth that sees this kind of mass violence erupt with this kind of frequency.” ...

Lott:  It is completely false. And Obama repeated this claim many times. For example, last year he flatly claimed: “It doesn’t happen in other advanced countries. It’s not even close.” ...

...in just 2015, France—a country with one-fifth the population of the United States—had more casualties from mass public shootings than the U.S. had during the entire eight years of the Obama presidency (532 versus 527)...

...Mass public shootings are defined as four or more people killed in a public place, and not in the course of committing another crime, and not involving struggles over sovereignty. Using the traditional FBI definition, the EU and the U.S. each experienced 25 mass shootings during the first seven years of Obama’s presidency (January 2009 to December 2015). ...

...If you compare the U.S. to individual countries in Europe over the same period, the U.S. had the 11th highest fatality rate. Because of Anders Breivik’s 2011 attack at a summer camp, Norway had the top spot—1.9 per million people per year. This rate was 21 times higher than that of the U.S. But other advanced countries such as France, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium and the Czech Republic also came in above the U.S

Looking only at the frequency of attacks—as Obama seems wont to do—while still adjusting for population, the U.S. came in 12th, with 0.078 per million people. ...

...In Russia and elsewhere, struggles over sovereignty have led to a large number of devastating attacks. For instance, the 2004 Beslan school siege—carried out in the name of Chechen independence—claimed 385 lives.    Since 1970, all but one of the 20 worst mass public shootings and 45 of the worst 50 cases occurred outside the United States....

Africa is also a hotspot for mass shootings, mostly religious:  Muslims kill Christians.

You really don't need updated figures on all this because Certified Professional Liars like Obama will continue to make ridiculous dishonest claims.  Forever.

Lying.  It's what they do!

"80%" Favor More Gun Laws? Maybe.

As usual, the Left is out in full force.  (Someone should look into which faculty member at Whitefish Bay HS provokes all those student march-around march-around march-around follies, no?)

The current claim is that '80% of Wisconsinites want tougher gun laws'.  Well, maybe; the only support for that claim DuckDuckGo gives us is a 2018 Marquette poll.  (2018!!!)  It's the same number Tony Evers used in 2019 when he demanded a special session on the issue.  (Vos, to his credit, gaveled it in and out in about 3 seconds.)

...In the aftermath of the recent school shooting in Florida, Wisconsin residents support background checks on private gun sales and sales at gun shows. Eighty-one percent support such background checks while 16 percent oppose them. When the question was last asked in June 2016, 85 percent supported and 12 percent opposed background checks....

The Marquette text is misleading because it is imprecise.  People who actually know the law know that ANY gun sale made by a dealer (FFL), no matter where it's made, must have a background check.  Almost all gun show sales are made by FFL's; I've been to several shows and only ONCE did I see a private citizen offering an old rifle for sale.

If the question were honestly phrased, it might look like this:  "Do you favor a background check on your son if you sell him your pistol?  Rifle?  Would you pay $50.00 for that check?  $100.00??"

Or this:  "Do you favor a background check on yourself if your neighbor sells you his pistol?  Rifle?  Would you pay $50.00 for that check?  $100.00"

One suspects that the "80%" number would shrink significantly.

That happens to be the ONLY gun law change drawing 80% support.  In the same poll, 56% of Wisconsinites favored a ban on 'assault-style weapons' (whatever those may be.)

Something that neither Evers nor the current rabble-rousers repeat from that same poll:

...Wisconsin voters are more divided on the effectiveness of possible new gun control laws in reducing mass shootings. Twelve percent think that new laws would reduce mass shootings a great deal, with another 22 percent saying this would reduce shootings a moderate amount. Nineteen percent say that additional gun control would reduce shootings only a little and 43 percent say that new laws would have no effect at all....

IOW, 62% think such new laws are a waste of time.  They're right, of course.

Useless Trash

Pete Arredondo, Chief of Police, Uvalde, TX.

Useless trash.

Uvalde's school district police chief Pete Arredondo is under fire for refusing to let his officers engage the active shooter at Robb Elementary, after the gunman barricaded himself in a classroom and continued to fire at cowering kids as they called 911

Signs: Ukraine Retreating

The London Daily Mail has been a reliable mouthpiece for British intel and political sources; its coverage of the Ukraine war has been aggressively pro-Ukraine/anti-Russia for months.  The Brits are far more committed to overthrowing Putin than is the US and the rest of Europe; this has been called "Britain's War".

So when the Daily Mail goes into reverse.....

Ukraine has admitted it may have to retreat from its last post in the Luhansk region as Russian forces continue their relentless march.

Putin's forces - now into their fourth month of the invasion - have concentrated on the east of the country in recent weeks.

Ukrainian soldiers leaving Luhansk will be a blow to the country, due to its symbolic significance in the war.

Oh my!!

We've always been skeptical of the 'Russian army incompetent boobs and un-trained conscripts' line, not to mention the blatant photoshopped propaganda put out by Zelenskiy (rumored to be at his mansion in Israel these days.)

So when the Daily Mail goes toes-up......

Calling Ron Johnson!!  Get our $40 BILLION back!!

Wonder Why Your KIA Was Stolen?

Another day ending in "y" and another stolen KIA.

You wonder why another stolen KIA?

When detectives questioned Carter, he admitted the car was stolen...

Carter was out on bail at the time of this incident in two open felony cases.

Wonder no more!!  It's John Chisholm.

Again.

Enroll Your Girls in ANYPLACE But Publik Screwels

It's enrollment season.  Here's the reason we mention it:

K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ private areas to obtain federal funds for lunches, breakfasts, and snacks, the Biden administration announced this month. A U.S. Department of Education spokesman told The Federalist the Biden administration’s press releases from several agencies announcing this policy will be followed by formal rulemaking in June....

You can leave your daughters in the public schools, of course.

They'll get free lunches.

The Big Lesson From Uvalde

The videos are emerging.

The police force in Uvalde did not "protect and defend" the helpless children.  It's reasonable to assume that they wouldn't "protect and defend" helpless adults, either.  It's also reasonable to assume that most police departments are on a par with Uvalde's.

Lesson?

Purchase firearms and learn how to use them.  Self-defense is the only ASSURED defense.

Grim On "Gun Control"

We all know that "gun control" really means "confiscate all the guns" from those who admit to having them (or who are on record as having them)--the law-abiding citizens.

Grim contemplates one of the consequences of that possibility:

...it would subject Americans to the same kind of criminal violence as Mexicans or Brazilians from cartels and other organized crime. Brazil and Mexico, big multi-ethnic American states, are much better analogs for the USA than the European nations people like to cite. The same cartels operate here as there. They terrorize Mexico's citizens because they are disarmed, not because they are weaker people than Americans. They terrorize their police into accepting bribes in lieu of death because the police are isolated and alone, rather than being supported by a large armed populace. We're able to hold all this in check as well as we do because of our broad, deep capacity to resist organized criminal violence. ...

Given what we already know about the Biden Regime, that's a consequence they would be happy about.  Getting rid of uppity citizens who dare speak up is right in line with their actions so far.

Update:

...if a squad of cops is afraid to confront one AR-15 imagine how fun it will be to forcibly confiscate 20 million of them...

Indeed.  Will be worth the price of admission to watch, no?

Rolodex "Journalism" at Channel 58

Don't you love it when "reporters" call the Rolodex of Usual Suspects and then declare "....class of X people do/do not agree" with Policy Z?

Here's Channel 58's entry into not-actual journalism, headline:

Wisconsin educators say arming teachers with guns is not a solution to school shootings

 So exactly who was interviewed?

The President of the Milwaukee Teachers' Union.

The State Ass't Super of Schools

Jackie Bonavia, a reliable Lefty activist.

Yah.  That's 'educators,' alright.  Sure.  /sarc

Red China Don't Care About Ukraine

Red China is voting "present" on the Ukraine war, and Zelenskiy likes it that way.

Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that he is “satisfied” with China’s policy of non-interference against the invasion launched by its ally Russia.

Zelensky said he desires closer relations with China even though it has done nothing to protect his country from the devastating Russian assault.

“China has chosen the policy of staying away. At the moment, Ukraine is satisfied with this policy. It is better than helping the Russian Federation in any case. And I want to believe that China will not pursue another policy. We are satisfied with this status quo, to be honest,” Zelensky said in a breakfast video conference hosted in Davos, Switzerland, where the World Economic Forum (WEF) is currently in progress....

Oh.  So Ron Johnson's constituents--and their children, and their children's children--will be paying interest on $40 BILLION, while the other world power sits back and watches.  Even worse, Zelenskiy thinks that's just fine and dandy.

Something tells me that Ron Johnson was played for a sucker.

Dear Excellency: WRONG!!

The Archbishop of San Fran, fresh from dropping the hammer on Pelosi, comes up with a naive "solution" to killing people:

There have to be sensible gun regulations to help stem the pandemic of gun violence, such as stronger background checks, restrictions on AR-15s, and raising the age of purchasers to 21.

1)  How much "stronger" can background checks be?  It's a national criminal/mental health inquiry, for crying out loud.  Now, then--if some State or subdivision fails to enter the information, well.....that's on the State or subdivision.

2)  Why restrict the AR?  There are plenty of lethal semi-auto rifles out there--some FAR more lethal than an AR.  You are merely repeating the jabber of Democrat politicians, and you really ought to know better about THEM, Excellency.

3)  Many States do have a 21-year-old requirement.  Of course, we send 18-year-olds into war, but since we GIVE them the rifles, that makes it all better, right?  Don't they have deer or squirrel-hunting in California, by the way?  Is the 18-year-old supposed to kill the animal with a rock?

Perhaps you should get a few extra exorcists into play in your Archdiocese.  Then work on finding ways to keep parents married, because as you well know, divorce breeds very serious family problems.

Also pray.

Oppose Tranny Ideology? WI DPI Will Fire You!

Remember that Tony Evers ran the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for a long, long, time.

An elementary school counselor from Milwaukee is refusing to resign or change her mind about gender identity, even after the state opened an investigation that could cost her her job.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction sent Marissa Darlingh a letter on April 29, explaining that she was under investigation for what she said at a rally in Madison just six days before....

...Darling was one of several speakers at a feminist rally in Madison on April 23 where she used a commonly expressed profanity repeatedly as she discussed transgenderism.

“I oppose gender ideology ever entering the walls of my school building,” Darling said. “Over my dead ... body will my students be exposed to the heart of gender identity ideology. Not a single one of my students under my ... watch will ever, ever transition socially, and sure as hell not medically.”

DPI’s letter said the investigation will “determine if there is probable cause to support allegations of immoral conduct.”...

Yes.  In the eyes of the Wisconsin DPI, opposing gender identity ideology is "immoral" (unless they want to charge "immorality" for using the F-bomb.)

Really.

The interesting part of this is that she made those remarks at a feminist rally.

Really.

Good Riddance to Knudson

Actually, Dean Knudson was a useless zit on the Democrat Election Machine Wisconsin Election Commission.

But he might make a good ref for WWE wrestling.  That's fake, too, just like Biden's "victory."

BOHICA BidenFlation!!

Bend Over Here It Comes Again!

In April, the rise in the index for final demand is primarily attributable to a 1.3-percent advance in prices for final demand goods, reported Zero Hedge.  (Producer Price Index)

Yes, that will show up in your grocery bill, probably in June.  For hard goods, probably July/August.

It's just what the Biden Regime ordered!!

"Long Covid"? Nope.

A most telling two grafs:

A new National Institutes of Health (NIH) study is raising questions about just how real “long COVID” is.

The study found that there was no evidence of long-term COVID-19 infection in patients who were six or more weeks removed from the onset of symptoms, even if those patients reported that they were experiencing “long COVID.” Further, the study found that individuals who reported having long COVID were disproportionately women and individuals with history of anxiety disorders....

"Women and individuals with history of anxiety disorders" ........hmmmmm.

Those categories are behind a lot of recent neuroses; often they serve as "parents" to transsexuals--or are themselves transsexuals.

Somehow they gain a lot of sympathetic coverage from reporters (speaking of neurotics)....

The Usual Crapola, Except from Gwen Moore

Gwen Moore is in Congress, representing Milwaukee and its northeastern and southeastern suburbs.

There's plenty of gun violence in her district, particularly in the City itself.

So it's interesting that Moore was the only Democrat who didn't employ the ritual mention of "gun violence" following the diabolic massacre in Texas.

Speculate at will, friends.

Another New Milwaukee Record!!

Milwaukee, with the assistance of John Chisholm (Fake Prosecutor) has set a new record!!

SEVENTY stolen cars in ONE weekend!!  Hot Damn!!

This far exceeds the average 24-stolen/day and if things go right, Milwaukee could see ONE HUNDRED stolens some weekend this summer.

Think Cavalier Johnson will put that on his resume?  We know Chisholm will.  He doesn't give a rotten damn, either.

Paul Farrow's Advice

Paul Farrow is the Chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party.  He's told the Republicans that they should 'look forward' rather than back at the '20 Election Fraud.

That's a lot like the advice given young women in Great Britain:  "Just lie back and think of England" while they are being raped.

Thanks, Paul!

The Vos/Fitzgerald Vote-Fraud License Continues

Robin Vos and Scott Fitzgerald signed off on current Wisconsin voting laws and--according to their attorneys--had 'no objection' to Democrat election-fraud schemes.

So the Democrats intend to expand the fraud!

Milwaukee community hubs like Fiserv Forum downtown and Gee's Clippers on King Drive could serve as "pop-up" in-person absentee voting sites in this year's elections for governor and U.S. Senate....

...The voting sites could pop up in conjunction with events not only at Gee's but also at locations such as Coffee Makes You Black on North Teutonia Avenue, Milwaukee Election Commission Executive Director Claire Woodall-Vogg said....

...They are just a few of the 27 potential locations that got the nod from the Common Council's Judiciary and Legislation Committee on Monday....

Because black and Hispanic folks cannot get to neighborhood schools to vote--just like they can't get IDs, nor get access to the internet, blah, blah, blah.  Racism, anyone?

Thanks, Robin, you moron!!

Still Don't Believe in Satan's Power?

There are Satan worshipers.  They believe in Satan and his power.

Then there are those who are possessed by Satan or one of his minions.

One of them used to be alive in Texas.

Yet there are grown adults who think 'Yah, well, he's just nuts.  Crazy.  He could have been treated.'

Oh, really?

There is a very good reason for exorcism.  Ask any exorcist.

They Really Want to Take Down the USA

In the below post, Ron Johnson opines that 'Russia is a threat to the US.'

Ron's missing the real threat (some of which are powerful members of his own Party who sit near him in the Senate.)

Wauck found a few blabberings from Davos and then quoted Surber for effect.

Here's Surber:

… the United States is in deep trouble.

Destroying America is the goal. ... Along with a rampant rise in violent crime, Democrats are scorching the Earth to punish Americans for daring to elect Donald John Trump as president.

Democrats desperately are speeding up their fundamental transformation of America ... The use of mail-in voting to accommodate illegal ballot harvesting installed Biden in the White House. Democrats know they have very little time to make the changes they desire. ...

Inflation was easy to achieve. …

But that is not all. Democrats shut down oil exploration ...

Democrats created bottlenecks along the West Coast ports to slow shipping. Shortages popped up.

The party also opened the border to millions of illegal aliens, who bring with them drugs, crime and welfare recipients.

Democrats shut down the nation's largest baby formula plant for no reason at all ...

Economic sanctions on Russia are leading to a shortage of fertilizer which will send farm prices soaring.

...Democrats shut down the nation two years ago in the name of public health just to get rid of Trump. Now they are shutting us down again to get rid of capitalism and freedom.

... And yes, Democrats are willing to starve the nation into submission. A score of food processing plants have shut down due to fires and the like, and if you notice this the press will label you a conspiracy theorist.

Democrats are deliberately kneecapping America. …

A couple of posts down from here I mentioned Union Pacific's demand that Pilot cut its diesel and DEF shipments by 25-30% which will have the effect of taking ten percent (TEN PERCENT) of America's trucks off the road.

A few days ago, Union Pacific also demanded that the nation's largest farm-fertilizer manufacturer cut its shipments by 25% as well.

It's a challenge to maintain "comity" and "civility" while identifiable Democrats are attempting to starve you, your family, and your grandchildren, isn't it?

It's even worse when identifiable Republicans are passively (or actively) assisting them in their quest.

Oh--yah--almost forgot!

Davos!!  (Reported by P J Watson at Wauck's site)

During a World Economic Forum panel on the energy crisis, German vice-chancellor Robert Habeck said countries should resist temptation to look after their own interests first. He added sustainability requires change to the "rule of the markets."

Speaking about small and medium businesses in Davos, Norwegian finance CEO Kjerstin Braathen says energy transition will create energy shortages and inflationary pressures, but this "pain" is "worth it."

Joe Biden: "When it comes to the gas prices, we're going through an INCREDIBLE transition"

Alibaba Group president J. Michael Evans boasts at the World Economic Forum about the development of an "individual carbon footprint tracker" to monitor what you buy, what you eat, and where/how you travel.

On the World Economic Forum's panel on a "Reimagined Global Tax System," Oxfam executive director Gabriela Bucher calls for a global 25 per cent corporate tax rate and complains that countries are lowering taxes to be competitive.

Australian eSafety commissioner Julie Inman Grant tells the World Economic Forum we need a "recalibration" of freedom of speech.

A CNN anchor, the chairman of Credit Suisse, and France's top central banker giddily discuss the arrival of central bank digital currencies within five years at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Yes, there are US Congressmen at this conference, drinking it all in, happily.

Still have your "Civilized" and "Comity" hat on?

RoJo: Russia Is a "Real Threat" to USA

Ron Johnson voted to spend $40 BILLION to re-arm Ukraine and pay its government workers, too.

That's because he views Russia as a threat to the US.  Here's his press release:

Monday on The Regular Joe radio program the senator said, “I believe Russia represents a real threat to western Europe and the globe. We cannot tolerate nor reward what Vladimir Putin has done there. The courageous people of Ukraine are fighting and dying for their freedom and I would argue, ours as well.”

And because Russia is such a threat--in Johnson's mind--he thinks admitting Finland and Sweden to NATO is just a dandy idea.  Why not?  The US should guarantee the defense of everyone in Western Europe, eh?  After all, they've done such a fine job of paying for their own defense since WWII--oh, wait.....

Well, Senator, I have a question.  If Russia is such a threat to the US, how come the US 'intel' agencies report that Russia's military is getting its ass handed to itself ?  What kind of threat is that?

Your rhetoric--that Ukrainians are fighting for OUR freedom--is based on what, exactly?  That they will defeat Russia and drive the Russian army back to Moscow?  That they will take out Putin and install a better government?

Be serious, Senator.

But while we're on "better government," YOU KNOW that Ukraine is one of the 5 most corrupt countries in the world.  Reports that US arms are already being sold on the black market are circulating.  So exactly which part of that $40 BILLION you spent is subject to strict distribution protocols and requirements?

You also mentioned that it will take 'hundreds of billions' to rebuild Ukraine.  How much of that will be picked up by the US taxpayer , Senator?

Finally, Senator--exactly where are you going to find that $40 BILLION?  Will Red China buy that debt issue?

Your radio interview with Regular Joe was very weak, Ron.  You don't believe what you're saying, and neither do I.  You were taking orders from Mitch, you know it, and don't want to admit it.

Sad.  You know you did the wrong thing and you did it for the wrong reason.

Union Pacific Wants You to Die

The Union Pacific railroad told Pilot/Flying J to reduce their DEF (Diesel Emissions Fluid) shipments to their stations by THIRTY percent.

They also told Pilot/Flying J to reduce their diesel-fuel shipments by 26%.

Flying J supplies 30% of the DEF used in the USA.  Without DEF, (per Federal regulations!!) diesel engines will not run.

Whatever you have in your home, including the lumber, floors, and toilet, was brought to you by a diesel truck.  Everything in your refrigerator was brought by diesel truck (or at least farmed with a diesel tractor.)

What is the objective of Union Pacific here?  Hmmmmm??

Jesuits Give Pelosi Communion

Of course.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was spotted at Mass in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, where she did receive Holy Communion.

The California Democrat, whose hometown San Francisco archbishop banned her from taking part in the sacrament as a result of her abortion stance, attended the 9 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity in the Georgetown neighborhood, according to Politico.

Cardinal Wilton Gregory of the Archdiocese of Washington has not publicly commented on whether the Speaker can receive the Eucharist. ..

That parish is run by Jesuits.

Here's a reminder:  "Jesuit" does not always equal "Catholic."  And "+Wilton Gregory" does not have any ........ahhhhhhh........courage.

State Farm: Like a Creepy Neighbor

Yesterday we asked 'What the Hell is the matter with State Farm?'

In January, State Farm Insurance actively advocated a company-wide program to get “Transgender, Inclusive and Non-Binary” books into school libraries to spark “challenging, important and empowering conversations with children ages 5 and up....

You can see why we asked the question.

Didn't take long for State Farm to start the Word Game Runaround:

...The company’s LGBTQ advocacy shifted dramatically on Monday, however: “Conversations about gender and identity should happen at home with parents, State Farm said in a statement after they were exposed...
Yah, well, that's less a "reverse" than it seems.

...We don’t support required curriculum in schools on this topic. We support organizations providing resources for parents to have these conversations, the statement read in part.”

“We no longer support the program allowing for distribution of books in schools. We will continue to explore how we can support organizations that provide tools and resources that align with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, the statement continued.”...

Oh.

They will "continue to explore" how they can "support organizations" which support grooming and irreversible surgical mutilation of children.  Because, after all, that's the reason for having insurance companies, right?

OK, then.  That makes it all better, no?

Go To Harvard. Become an Idiot!

This guy Furman teaches at Harvard.  Taking his class will make you an idiot.

FURMAN:  “Look, we’ve seen a remarkable thing. Consumers, if you survey them, are very pessimistic and negative about the economy. When they vote with their wallets, we saw- we got the consumer spending data for April and it was way up. Consumer spending on just about everything has been booming. Over the next 6 to 12 months, I’m not super worried about a recession. After that is where I start to get worried because that’s where the Fed’s policy will start having more of an effect.”

--quoted at Last Refuge

As Last Refuge makes clear, here's what the Idiot forgets:  prices are up about 9% since last year.  So yes, consumers are 'spending more.'

But they're getting the same amount of goods for their 9% increase in spend.

Harvard School of Idiocy.

Question for the 21st Century

You've seen all you really need to see at both the State and Federal levels.

Here's an excellent question:

If Voting Republican Is the Answer, Why Has It Never Worked Before?

What the Hell Is the Matter with State Farm?

When did State Farm Insurance--the Aaron Rodgers/What'sHisName of Kansas City Chiefs outfit--go completely bonkers?

...The auto insurance company State Farm is encouraging its agents in Florida to donate books promoting transgenderism to 5-year-olds to their local schools or public libraries, according to an email shared by a whistleblower.

The email, obtained by the nonprofit organization Consumers’ Research and shared with the Washington Examiner, revealed that State Farm has partnered with the GenderCool Project, which promotes issues of gender identity in children through various advocacy and public awareness programs, to donate a packet of three books to local schools and public libraries.

The three books, A Kids Book About Being Transgender, A Kids Book About Being Non-Binary, and A Kids Book About Being Inclusive, contain various descriptions about gender and identity meant to disprove the notion that gender is the same as biological sex and establish that it is therefore changeable....--quoted at Weasel Zippers

State Farm's HQ is in Bloomington, IL., not known as a hotbed for pervert/groomer/deniers of Nature.

Until now.

Wherein Frank Gaffney Echoes Dad29

We've raised the possibility that Red China is conducting economic warfare against the US (and other parts of the West) through its 'lockdowns' of various cities--most recently Shanghai.

Those interruptions in commerce have had serious consequences over here, especially for manufacturing of anything requiring chips, but also including furniture, clothing, and certain metal components.

In the Bannon show of yesterday, Frank Gaffney, a well-respected China analyst, raised the same concern.  (Go to ~30.00 in this recording.)

Huh.

Global Warming? Not Lately

The accurate measures are in the atmosphere, not at parking lots in NYC.

...In a major re-evaluation of data from meteorology balloons rising through the troposphere, the scientists confirmed that temperatures have mostly paused since around 1998. The discovery can only add to pressure to re-open the so-called ‘settled science’ debate around global warming and the central part it plays in the 30-year rush towards Net Zero. Readings throughout the troposphere, Earth’s lower atmosphere that extends in parts up to 15 km altitude, have been available for many years.

The researchers were able to use measuring metadata to improve the consistency of records obtained from almost 700 global locations, recording twice a day since 1978, at 16 pressure levels. The slowdown since 1998 observed in the balloon data is confirmed by accurate satellite data, which also shows a current pause of about 91 months....

So killing off base-load coal-fired electric plants was.............a waste of money.

And--as a bonus--there's the real possibility of rolling blackouts all over the Midwest this summer!!!

Once again the Enlightened Ones have found a way to make the Dirt People pay.

FearPorn, MonkeyPox Version

Nice little clip here from Bannon's house allowing Dr. Malone to plant the truth flag on the newest FearPorn, monkeypox.

1)  It's not very lethal:  <1%

2)  It's currently showing only in actively-practicing homosexual men

3)  The number of cases is extremely small in the West; only 2 in the US and 140+ elsewhere

There's another very enlightening revelation on that clip.  Seems that Bill Gates' 'philanthropy' is really a money-laundering scheme.  Gates set up a foundation a long time ago.  With foundation money, he purchases "humanitarian" vaccines, treatments, (etc.) from drug companies in which he has a financial (investment) interest.

Neat trick from the inventor of the BSOD, eh?

Ukraine Is Losing This War

While Scott Ritter has "re-evaluated" his prediction of doom for Ukraine, other sources demonstrate that he was right in his first estimation.

...the tactical situation at the eastern frontline has changed after Russian forces broke through the heavily fortified frontline.... the Russian army went forward along the H-32 road, broke through the line in the direction of Propasna and took the town. It has since extended the bulge by taking several villages to the north, west and south....

This breakthrough gives the chance to roll up the Ukrainian fortifications along the frontline through flank attacks or from behind. By cutting the supply lines of the Ukrainian troops to the north and south envelopes can be created which will eventual lead to cauldrons with no way out for the Ukrainian troops.

This is especially dangerous for the several thousand soldiers north of the bulge which currently defend the cities of Sieverodonetsk and Lysychansk in the north eastern part of the upper bubble....

(Maps are at the link.)

Some will argue that this is Russkie Propaganda--as though the London Daily Mail 'reporting' is not MI-6 propaganda.

On the other hand, why did Lloyd Austin call Russia on May 13 and ask for a cease-fire?  Why was there a follow-up call initiated by Milley just last Thursday?  Hmmmmm?

As noted below, the Atlantic now speaks of negotiations and (not-really-separately,) the NYTimes agrees, without stating it so bluntly.

...The gasoline and diesel scarcity in Ukraine is currently having severe impacts. Even the Ukrainian military is now rationing its fuel. Since about six weeks ago Russia has systematically attacked refineries and fuel storage sites in Ukraine. It also disabled railroad bridges along the lines that brought fuel from Moldova and Romania.

At the same time the Ukrainian government had held up price regulations for fuel. The consumer sale prices for diesel and gasoline were fixed. The cost of fuel brought in by private trucks from Poland exceeded the price gas station owners could ask for. In consequence gas stations ran dry as their owners refrained from purchasing new fuel.

Three days ago the Zelensky regime in Kiev finally ended the fuel price control...

Huh.  The Daily Mail didn't mention that, nor did Ritter?  Gee.

...In total the social-economic situation for Ukraine is catastrophic. The military situation is even worse. Mariupol has fallen and Russian troops working there will soon be able to go elsewhere. The Propasna bulge is threatening to envelope the whole northern frontline together with the core of the Ukrainian army.

[This is the factor that really counts.  If Zelenskiy loses 'the people,' he is finished and will have to evacuate to his mansion(s) in the West.]

..There is no more talk of the Ukrainian army 'winning' like in Kiev or Karkov where the Russian troops retreated in good order after finishing their task of holding Ukrainian forces in place.

The Ukrainian command has sent several territorial brigades to the front lines. These units were supposed to defend their home towns. They consist of middle age men drafted into service. They have little fighting experience and lack heavy weapons. Several of these units have published videos saying they were giving up. They are lamenting that their commanders left them when their situation became critical.

That the Ukrainian army is now using such units as cannon fodder shows that it has only few reserves left.

Weapons that come in from the 'west' have difficulties reaching the front lines and had so far very little effect. They amount to drops of water on a hot plate....

Forty Billion USD and not a damn thing to show for it, except in the P&L of Raytheon, Boeing, Oshkosh Truck and United Technologies.

That's your Congress!

Your Friendly Local FBI Rule-Breakers

Gee.  This is "news"?

FBI agents have a long-standing pattern of breaking rules on investigations, and the bureau’s efforts to solve them did not eliminate the problems, according to more than six years of internal reviews obtained by The Washington Times.

The previously undisclosed data covering 2013 to 2019 documents more than 1,600 instances of broken rules on cases involving investigations that do not require warrants, the use of informants and undercover agents, and sensitive matters involving people engaged in politics, government, the news media and religious groups.

Mike German, a fellow for the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty & National Security Program, said the rule-breaking detailed in the audits is “the tip of the iceberg.” Mr. German, a former undercover FBI agent who left the bureau in 2004, authored the 2019 book “Disrupt, Discredit, and Divide: How the New FBI Damages Democracy.”

He said the problem is likely far worse than the public knows. ...

Actually, it's likely NOT.  The public has learned a lot since Trump took office and the FBI actively opposed him every step of the way.

Time to disband this gang of thugs.

The Trenchant Texan99

A frequent contributor at Grim's Place is "Texan99" who IIRC is a lady in Southern Texas.

She read a piece in FrontPage about soccer, but drew a much larger lesson.

You can equalize salaries when the people getting paid aren't doing anything that matters. --FrontPage

Texan99's trenchant corollary:

...This scales up brilliantly to a lot of public-sector work, as well as monopolies and industries heavily infiltrated by the state...

You will be hard-pressed to contradict that with a preponderance of the evidence.

(The FrontPage piece is a hoot, by the way.  Read it!)

The Curious Case of Monkeypox Timing

If there are no conspiracies but no co-incidences, how do you figure this one?

Elite media outlets around the world are on red alert over the world’s first-ever global outbreak of Monkeypox in mid-May 2022—just one year after an international biosecurity conference in Munich held a simulation of a “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of Monkeypox” beginning in mid-May 2022....

We know that Isaiah is dead.  So is the Munich Conference his successor?

Hmmmmm.

Not So Fast, Zelenskiy!

The Atlantic opines that Zelenskiy should start thinking about 'terms.'

By no co-incidence, Zelenskiy started talking about 'terms' just yesterday, without using the term.

Europe, of course, is being European:  taking US money to do its own job, and ninny-nannying about its 'commitment' now that Putin turned off the natural gas.  (Finland hardest hit.)

Surprise!

Do You Feel Lucky, Punk??

Statistical factoid of the day:

About 1 of every 10 Wisconsin adults has a concealed-carry permit.

(460,000 permits, 4,300,000 adults.)

Go ahead.  Make Our Day.

+Cordileone Goes There

It's about time.

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone announced on Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is forbidden to receive Holy Communion because of her increasingly “extreme” pro-abortion views....

So Nancy will be committing sacrilege in Washington DC where an entirely different sort of Bishop reigns.  +Cordileone knows that.

But there's another part here, which is very important:  scandalIn doing what he did, the Archbishop told U S Catholics that there IS a line in the sand and he just drew it.

Meantime, Bp. Hying of Madison, WI., issued a statement fully supporting Abp. Cordileone's position.  That means that +Hying will be very high on the list of targets for Madison terrorists.

Pray for both of them.

Husch Blackwell vs. Voter ID

In the good old days, lawyers represented clients at the bar.  Civil litigation, criminal defense, wills, trusts, housing purchases, that sort of stuff.  By no co-incidence, that was when 'practicing law' was honored as a profession.

Now they work to squash Voter ID.  Isn't that special?

...Over the past year, liberal dark money group Sixteen Thirty Fund has spent $2.5 million opposing a Republican-led petition drive to expand Michigan's voter ID requirements. Nearly $400,000 of that money has gone to Groundgame Political Solutions, a shadowy consulting firm that a trio of Republican operatives—including Sen. Roy Blunt's (R., Mo.) son, Andy Blunt—privately launched in May 2021, corporate filings show.

The firm, which Blunt first registered in Delaware before expanding it to 10 other states, functions as a stealthy subsidiary to Blunt's public-facing canvassing company, HBS+. The setup has allowed Blunt and his partners, fellow Republican operatives Gregg Hartley and Meghan Cox, to rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars from deep-pocketed liberals without alienating their conservative clients.

The revelation shows just how far liberal operatives are willing to go to tank the ongoing voter ID expansion effort in the Great Lakes State....

Yes, that "HBS" stands for Husch Blackwell Strategies.

Wondering why "lawyer" has become a dirty word?

Look West, Vos and LeMahieu!

Just in case Vos and LeMahieu (who inherited his seat) think that they are permanently entitled.....

In Idaho:

...a conservative wave fueled by anger at the outcome of the 2020 elections and [Gov.] Little’s own effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic crashed over what is already one of the most ruby-red states in America.

Twenty incumbent (R) state legislators either lost their seats or lost races to move from the House to the Senate on Tuesday.

Among them: state Sen. Carl Crabtree (R), chairman of the Senate Education Committee; state Sen. Jeff Agenbroad (R), chairman of the powerful Senate Finance Committee; state Sen. Jim Patrick (R), chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee; state Sen. Fred Martin (R), chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee; and state Sen. Peter Riggs (R), Martin’s vice chairman and the son of former Lt. Gov. Jack Riggs (R)....

But by all means, LeMahieu, let politics be more important than public safety.  By all means, Vos, tell your lawyers to allow Election Fraud!!

Expect a just reward, boys.

SEC Snoop Fail? BRING OUT THE AGGRIEVED WOMAN!!!

We are not fans of Elon Musk.  His cars are......safety-challenged.....and his revenue stream is VERY dependent on Government largesse.  Since we are not Twitter, we are not animated one way or the other about his purchase (although it will be a lot of fun to watch him grind current shareholders to dust.)

Anyhow.

Since he represents a serious threat to the Left with his Twitter thannng, they're trying all sorts of things to rip down his fortune.  So the SEC was called out to snoop around his dealings, the unions who HATE him for being union-free in his auto biz, and various other suspicious ne'er-do-wells are activated.

Including the Aggrieved Woman.*  (There is one for every occasion; you can purchase blonde, brunet, red-head, busty, flattish, leggy or not-so-much, deep tan or housewife pale....place your order!!!)

This one claims that Musk got waaaayyyy too frisky in his airplane where she was just stewardessing.  Huh.  She screamed about this event before and was given $250K to STFU and go away.  She took the money, meaning that we know her price (as Churchill would say).

Maybe she's telling the truth.  Awfully damned convenient timing, no?

Or maybe her price went up.

*N.B.:  The report is hearsay; a FRIEND of the aggrieved woman told this story.  That's even more.....ahhh.......curious.

When the Power Goes Down Here.....

When the electricity goes off here in Wisconsin, you can thank Wisconsin Electric (WEEnergies) potato-brains for closing Pleasant Prairie.

"Economics" had something to do with it--but mostly it was WEEnergies (Wiener-gies) executives running scared over EPA/Federal threats about 'global warming.'

Which is currently called "climate change" because there's no more warming.

There's good news; if the power goes down, you'll have plenty of warming--in your homes, in your offices, and in hospitals, restaurants, retail stores.......

It will be hot as Hell, exactly where the chickenshit WEEnergies execs should be.

"Unanimously Hired"? Bee Ess.

This selection was a mistake.  All you have to do is hear her talk about Critical Theory (race, gender, whatever) and you know we are paying $1 million/year (don't forget her husband and free housing!!) for a load of crap.

Then there's this:

...Regents Vice President Karen Walsh defended the board's decision to hire Mnookin, which was unanimously made by board members appointed by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and by former Republican Gov. Scott Walker....

That's a half-truth.  Anyone who has ever served on a Board knows it, too.  A majority reaches a decision on a hire art that level and the minority is TOLD to 'make this unanimous' for the sake of appearances, unity, comity, whatever.  Usually the minority is weak-willed or weak-minded enough to cave.

And they did.

Back to 'Afghanistan the Smaller'

 War-War Joe.

President Biden signed off this month on a plan returning US troops to Somalia — and reversing former President Donald Trump’s pullout of roughly 700 troops from the East African country.

Biden authorized a “persistent” US military presence in the East African country, with an estimated cap of 500 Americans...

Another mistake by Bush the Dumber gets perpetuated.

FJB.

The Great M. Stanton Evans

We read his columns in Human Events for years.  Every one was a grand slam.

Here, Evans gives "The Great Society" exactly what it deserves.

...President Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society programs were another target of Evans, noting early on that they were turning into a sinecure for “caring” professionals of the welfare state. JFK’s brother-in-law Sargent Shriver, head of Johnson’s Office of Economic Opportunity, complained about an Evans column but proved his point: “I am confident that the new importance the War on Poverty is giving to the helping professions will have a beneficial effect both locally and nationally on the often inadequate salaries in those fields.” Evans understood the war between the Right and Left is really “a war between the permanent government and the elected government.”...

That was in 1963.

Neither Dick Nixon, Ron Reagan, GHW Bush, Bush the Dumber, nor Donald Trump has done One.  Damn.  Thing.  about the welfare-state promoting "caring" professionals.

Well, those "professionals" DO care.  About their own income, benefits, and retirements.  And to Hell with yours, pal.

Poop Processor Likes Democrats

Not really surprising that someone who processes poop sends large bucks to Democrats, is it?

...Also on the invite list was Kevin Conroy, CEO of Madison-based Exact Sciences and generous contributor to Democratic campaigns, including $25,000 to Evers’ campaign coffers. Conroy also is the brother-in-law of Joel Brennan, the governor’s former Department of Administration secretary....

Would you call that 'laundered poop'?  By its more scatological moniker, it's "s*it" which--come to think of it--is a commodity spewed by Democrats in large quantities.

Yup.  Makes sense.

Priorities? WRONG!!

 Channel 6 headline:

Milwaukee crime, governor's race: Dems want more gun laws, GOP more officers

They're both wrong.

What Milwaukee (but not ONLY Milwaukee) needs is a real prosecutor and several hanging judges.

More cops would be nice, yes.

As to "gun laws"?--- which ones have the goblins NOT broken?

RoJo Spends on Ukraine (??!!)

Not too surprising; Ron Johnson decided to spend $40 BILLION that the US doesn't have to support Ukraine's bureaucrats--and even worse, the US State Department's spend-spend-spend.

Has Europe spent anything on this war?

Yes.  About one-third of the US spend.

Cool.

Here's a partial list (military spend can be found at the link):

— $8.77 billion in economic assistance for Ukraine;
— $4.35 billion in humanitarian aid for Ukraine;
— $4 billion for foreign military financing program (run by the State Department);
— $900 million for the Administration for Children and Families for refugee and entrant assistance;
— $500 million for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;
— $400 million for the international narcotics control and law enforcement to combat human trafficking and collect evidence of war crimes;
— $350 million for the State Department’s Migration and Refugee Assistance;
— $190 million for the State Department for “Diplomatic Programs;
— $150 million for the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program;
— $110 million for the State Department for embassy security, construction, and maintenance;
— $100 million for the State Department for nonproliferation, anti-terrorism, de-mining and related programs;
— $67 million for the Justice Department;
— $54 million for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to carry out public health and disease detection related to Ukraine;
— $17 million for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID);
— $10 million for the State Department’s “Capital Investment Fund”;
— $4 million for the State Department’s Office of Inspector General;
— $2 million for “salaries and expenses” to provide regulatory and technical support; and
— $1 million for USAID’s Office of Inspector General.

How's your baby formula supply?  Any of your friends or relatives die from drug OD due to the invasion from the South?

Don'cha love how the US Government spends your grandchildren's money?

Red China and Wisconsin Election Fraud

In the way-back of your mind, you knew the Chinese Communists had to be involved in the Wisconsin election fraud.

And they were.

The recently released documentary “2000 Mules” by Dinesh D’Souza shows that there were about 2,000 individuals who received ballots from various nonprofit organizations and delivered them in the middle of the night to many mail-in dropboxes ahead of the 2020 election.

While those organizations’ names were not mentioned in the documentary, Trevor Loudon, who has researched radical left, Marxist, and terrorist movements for more than 30 years, said that there is a network of voter registration organizations set up by the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) in San Francisco, a “front” organization for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

This network is called “Seed the Vote” and it has ties with a number of organizations set up in key swing states such as Black Leaders Organizing for Communities in Wisconsin, Detroit Action in Michigan, Living United For Change in Arizona, New Georgia Project in Georgia, and Pennsylvania Stands Up in Pennsylvania, Loudon said....

Aside from Red Chinese support for this bunch, there's also the Tides Foundation, a dark-money outfit which supports Left and Far-Left ops.

Currently, the Wisconsin operation is supporting Underly (State Schools Superintendent,) Katie Kegel for Milwaukee County judge, Angela Cunningham for Kenosha County judge, and Kelley and Gokalgandhi for Milwaukee School board.

When the Communists and Tides (BIRM) support someone for office, actual Americans should vote for anyone else.

The Ritter Switch-View on Ukraine

Only a couple of weeks ago, Scott Ritter (controversial, I know) was of the opinion that Russia was going to prevail in its quest to 'liberate' the two eastern provinces of Ukraine.  Ritter granted that it would take time, as the Russian strategy appeared to be an inch-by-inch clearing of Ukie troops east of the Dnieper; with serious artillery barrages clearing the way of the troops.

Now Ritter has re-thought.  It seems that he now expects a re-run of 'trench warfare' which may not be as deadly as the WWI version, but which will get the same results:  a stalemate.  It's Ritter's opinion that Putin will have to mobilize a far larger army in order to 'push' the Ukies out of the territory Russia wants.

This was discovered by Wauck, who mentions that Lloyd Austin's request for a cease-fire came AFTER the Ritter interview was taped.  But Ritter's intimation of 'stalemate' happens to comport with what the NSA thinks, as we mentioned earlier.

Red China comes up in the video discussion as a friend of Russia, but where Red China is the "big" brother--thus Russia is the "little" brother; an interesting take.  Only 50 years ago that would have been a laughable position to hold.

On Certain Public Officials and Horsewhipping

A wonderful little screed from Glenn Reynolds about Certain Public Officials.  Nine years old and even more pertinent!!  His suggested remedies are also spot-on.

“Here’s the problem with public officials — because that’s really [Louis Michael Seidman’s] audience — deciding to ignore the Constitution: If you’re the president, if you’re a member of Congress, if you are a TSA agent, the only reason why somebody should listen to what you say, instead of horsewhipping you out of town for your impertinence, is because you exercise power via the Constitution. If the Constitution doesn’t count, you don’t have any legitimate power. You’re a thief, a brigand, an officious busybody, somebody who should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail for trying to exercise power you don’t possess. So if we’re going to start ignoring the Constitution, I’m fine with that. The first part I’m going to start ignoring is the part that says, I have to do whatever they say.”...

The Wisconsin Election Commission Democrat Vote-Fraud Enabling Commission leaps to mind, doesn't it?

US SecDef Requests Cease-Fire in Ukraine (!?)

This is a telling report, if true.

Ukraine Pleads for Release of #Azovstal Fighters, #Scholz and #Austin Ask for Ceasefire, #Putin Refuses

Not only Austin, but the German Chancellor.   The entire post from Wauck (see link below) includes a number of citations about the general situation in the war.  They are NOT the usual D.C. propaganda--but even if they are Russian propaganda, it's better for you to know all, rather than half.  HintUkraine is not winning this war.

After all, it's YOU who will be a target if Crazy Uncle Joe decides that war with Russia is the right call.

HT: Wauck
