Admittedly, the bar for 'making a fool of NYC Mayors' has not been very high since Rudy. (We'd include Bloomberg except for his dopey jihad against the Second Amendment.)
Kyrie Irving is an NBA player on the Brooklyn team. Since he refused to take The Vaxx, he was banned from playing.
Then the NBA changed its rules since most vaccinated players were coming down with the Chinese Lung-Rot. Science, ya'know. Economic science, that is.
By and by, New York City changed its rules, too. The un-washed un-vaccinated would be allowed back into indoor spaces. Yay, Kyrie!!
.........not so fast........
See, he could go into the building, but NOT into the locker-room, because that's a "work space" and in NYC rules, "work spaces" are reserved only to The Vaxxed. Science!!
So.
Kyrie bought tix for a Knicks game against his Brooklyn team. Sat front row. After the game, he went into the locker room to see his teammates.
See, for HIM, it's not a "work space" because he wasn't working.
SCIENCE!!
And now the Yankees and Mets are in the same boat.
ReplyDeleteNYC is a cesspool of questionable humanity.
