More CDC "Science!!!!"

CDC recently decided that a 10-day quarantine was about twice as long as necessary, especially if you are an airline pilot or crew-member.

Gives rise to the question "Were you right then, or are you right now?"

In further pursuit of a total loss of credibility, CDC.........

...significantly reduced its estimate for how prevalent the omicron variant of COVID-19 is in the United States on Tuesday, saying that the new variant was only responsible for 22.5% of new cases in the week that ended Dec. 18, not the alarming 73.2% that it had originally estimated last week. ...

Oh.

That's very re-assuring, especially coming from CDC.

Don't go away.  There's more!

The newly updated CDC guidelines don't require testing at the end of isolation because PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told "Good Morning America" Wednesday.

"So we would have people in isolation for a very long time if we were relying on PCRs," Walensky said.
