Spent some pleasant time in Dane County over the weekend watching grade-school basketball games.
About 30% of the spectators were masked. The poor kids who played HAD to wear masks, but they were notably relaxed about exactly where that mask was hanging. The refs didn't care.
Was waiting for some Karen to challenge my mask-less self, so I could reply that I was visiting from the United States, the land of the free and home of the brave.
But they're so ashamed of their compliance out there that no one brought it up.
Drat.
