Apparently the Republican leadership in the House is considering stripping traitors of their committee positions. Here, "traitors" are defined as those who voted for the Green Weenie Bill last week.
About damn time.
...Punchbowl News reported that many Republican members of the House were critical of the 13 Republican lawmakers who voted for Biden’s agenda, and that as a result, there were discussions about stripping their committee assignments as punishment.
Conservatives narrowed in on Rep. John Katko (R-NY), the ranking Republican member on the Homeland Security Committee, who also voted to impeach President Donald Trump, voted to create an independent commission to investigate the riots on Capitol Hill on January 6th, and also joined Democrats by voting to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee assignments....
Being stripped of committee assignments is a helluvalot better than being stripped of clothing and placed in stocks in the town square, which is much more appropriate for these jackwads. Upton, you recall, led the charge to eliminate incandescent lights. Meijer is a Democrat with family money; strictly a country-club kid.
Screw 'em. Here in Wisconsin, Rebecca Kleefisch suggested that Republicans should start playing by the Democrat book for elections, to the HORROR of Kevin Nicholson Little Lord Fauntleroy. Maybe he likes losing. She doesn't.
Good for her. Think she has the guts to propose a 10% reduction in Full-Time-Equivalent employment in Wisconsin Government? THAT would be a campaign headline!
