Ascension-St Joseph will fire 13 RN's from its OB/GYN floor, and 14 from its general med-surg floor. Elmbrook will be VERY short RN's at its med-surg (5th) floor. Ascension will likely have to close at least one of its cancer clinics--TBA.
Cannot get info on Columbia-St Mary's or the Racine hospital (nor the other clinics.) But given Ascension's hard-line "NO" on religious exemption requests, it's likely the picture at its other operations is just as perilous.
Apparently they don't like the Milwaukee area market.
