Reliable sources tell this blog that Bp. Callahan of LaCrosse will soon issue a censure of Abp. Cordileone of San Francisco.
...Archbishop Cordileone put out a statement. It was headlined: “Statement of San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone in response to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defending efforts to permit federal funding of elective abortions.”
“Let me repeat: no one can claim to be a devout Catholic and condone the killing of innocent human life, let alone have the government pay for it,” said the archbishop.
It is further rumored that Bp. Callahan will require Cordileone to remove his clerics before speaking publicly, and move out of the Chancery.

If I were Cordileone I'd tell him to shove it up his nose...PUBLICLY...in full fiddle-back vestments. And then I'd incardinate Fr. Altman into MY diocese...smiling cheshire-cat-grin the whole time.
These 'good guys' have GOT to start getting serious. They'll be STUNNED by the amount of vociferous support they get.
