Here's a "How'd THAT happen?" story, accompanied by a "So??" subtext.
Waukesha County was forced to cancel appointments for teachers to get the COVID-19 vaccine the second day they were eligible....the county health vaccination clinics were being reserved until at least 60% of those 65 and older got their doses....
Yes, yes, the 65++ crowd has a greater incidence of death from the Chinese bio-weapon than do younger cohorts.
But what if--what if--50% of the old folks do not want it, or do not sign up? Hmmmmm? Will schools remain closed until 2025?
And when you read the story a second time, you see this:
...Teachers who live in Waukesha County can still get vaccinated at a pharmacy....
So the flapjaw emitted by some Union type is.........irrelevant and immaterial:
...Teacher and union representative Carrie Kummrow said they were frustrated with the change.
"Frustrated isn't really the word to describe it. We know that there are other districts around us that are being vaccinated," she said. "We've been face to face. We've been doing everything that's been asked of us. And people have been very anxious to get vaccinated."...
What? Can't you find a Walgreen's? ProHealthCare also has pharmacies, as does Aurora. Do you need a ride or something?
