If you can't believe Surber, then you're reading the wrong stuff.
As a West Virginian, for years I have told readers that Joe Manchin will not flip parties and become a Republican. I am not really sure why readers believe that. Nothing in his record shows a fondness for the truth or limited government. People must have him confused with John McCain.
West Virginia voted for Donald John Trump twice? Manchin could not care less.
What part of Manchin saying "I don't give a shit" do you not understand?
The will of the people means nothing to him....
So yah, Manchin will vote to retain HIS version of the filibuster. He'll try to eradicate the 2A, and definitely will vote to eliminate the democratic-Republic we have when HR1 shows up on his desk.
The Democrats have declared war on the citizens, but they have forgotten that in a war, the other side (that's US) gets a vote on when and if that war ends.
