A New LAW for Kai?

Very sad story here.

Waukesha North High School junior Kai Lermer died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart condition. He was just 16 years old. Now, his family is taking a big step to ensure no parent has to experience a loss like theirs.

Lermer died in April 2019 after playing basketball with friends at a park in Waukesha.

We are well aware of the pain of losing a child.

But State legislation/mandate about it?

...The Kai 11 bill would require high schools and other organized sports programs to provide information on the risk of sudden cardiac arrest. WIAA athletic forms would give parents the opportunity to have an EKG test for students before taking part in sports....
No.

High-school AD's are responsible for their programs.  THEY should make the decision about this; one suspects that the AD's will be considering the test without a State Law To Fix This.

One of Alberta Darling's faults is that Alberta is a member of the UniParty:  laws for every damn thing under the sun.

Just stop it, Alberta.
