There's a lawyer out there who REALLY doesn't like Amy Barrett's stand on civil liberties, beginning with her rejection of "strict scrutiny" for religious liberty cases, and walking through her police conduct/use of force defenses, and her smackdown of anti-abortion sidewalk counselors in Chicago.
Barrett is also on the record stating that Roe v Wade is precedent that should stand.
Odd thing to say when dozens of jurists and lawyer-commentators have decried Roe as a horribly-reasoned decision which deserves the fate of Plessy or Dred Scott.
Hmmmm.
