Self-Driving Cars, Eh?

The usual idiots suspects at GM, Ford, and Chrysler are ballyhooing "self-driving" cars.  There will be no more vehicular accidents, no more car fatalities, no more property damage, and best of all, you can put on your makeup while driving to work.

See, the cars will be run by Super-Intelligent Computers!!

We all know nothing can go wrong with Super-Intelligent Computers, right? 

Amazon's Super-Intelligent Computers should prove the case for self-driving cars.  No problem.

Or maybe not.

New research is making Alexa better mimic human response, Reuters reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter....

One user, for instance, was surprised after Alexa said: “Kill your foster parents.” It’s not an isolated incident, according to Reuters....

Let's hope those foster parents were not walking near a self-driving car.
