"Masculinity" in Church a Problem?

We are amused by this one.

The church needs to further integrate women into ecclesial life to confront the problems of clericalism and an exaggerated sense of masculinity, a Vatican official told the Synod of Bishops.
In his address to the synod members Oct. 18, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, said he agreed with the working document's assertion that there sometimes is "an ecclesial inability to recognize, welcome and foster the creativity of the 'feminine genius.'"...

Umnnhhhhh........when half the priests are homosexuals, you don't have a "masculinity" problem, Eminence.

Just sayin'....

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators. .. nor effeminate . ..

  3. What a crazy notion. We laity WANT masculinity in the Church. This will be achieved only when all priests who have any homosexual inclinations whatsoever (not just "deep-seated" inclinations)REMOVED from the PRIESTHOOD. What we will then have are priests who are normal, celibate, chaste, masculine MEN who love God and His Church, and will help souls to attain salvation.
