Vatican II: Worse Than You Thought

Don't you HATE when this happens??

In 1962, as millions of Catholics languished behind the iron curtain and the Soviet Union worked to spread atheistic communism throughout the world, the Second Vatican Council was preparing to deliver an historic condemnation of Marxist and communist ideology, one that would involve a global strategy for its defeat.

Vatican II’s preparatory commissions had created three different statements that would condemn Marxism as an “exceedingly grave and universal danger” and communism as “a false religion without God” that seeks to “to subvert the foundations of Christian civilization.” They also envisioned a massive and highly-coordinated campaign to liberate mankind from communism and “shatter its audacity.”

It would be a full-scale counterattack against what Fatima visionary LĂșcia dos Santos called “the greatest heresy to appear at any time in the world,” which was “carrying its errors to the ends of the earth.”

However, the documents were discarded in the early months of the Council when the liberal German, French, and Dutch-speaking bishops of the “Rhine group” out-maneuvered the conservative majority and took control of the commissions overseeing the council’s documents. They then rejected most of the preparatory schemas that had been issued to the council fathers, replacing them with schemas that generally avoided condemning the errors of the age. The schemas condemning communism and Marxism were never considered. What remained was only a timid critique of atheism in the document Gaudium et Spes, with an oblique reference in a footnote to previous condemnations to communism by the popes....

Now we have to admit what we only suspected was true about the Rhine-Group and its US allies, to be sure.  It's not "co-incidence" that their successors are the ones promoting E Z Divorce & Communion and--next--gay "marriage."

Not to mention wimminpriests.

Bella Dodd was not kidding.

  1. Roberto de Mattei goes through the whole story of the discarding of the preparatory documents in his book "The Second Vatican Council - An Unwritten Story"

  2. We trust Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen in his counsel to Bella Dodd not to go public about the deliberate targeting of the Church by Moscow. But can we not get some update after 60 years?

  4. Yes Dodd's book is informative; it does not, however, name names. Additionally she said Archbishop Sheen did not want the names of the men..." without faith or morals" that she and others recruited for seminaries-over 1000 in total.

"Mrs. Dodd said: "In the 1930s we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within." The idea was for these men to be ordained and progress to positions of influence and authority as Monsignors and Bishops. She stated that: "Right now they are in the highest places in the Church" — where they were working to bring about change in order to weaken the Church's effectiveness against Communism. She also said that these changes would be so drastic that "you will not recognize the Catholic Church." from romancatholichereos blog.

Why on earth would Sheen not want the names? It is and was incomprehensible especially for a "Venerable". In the 60's(30 years after the infiltration) during a visit with the Dr(s) von Hildebrand, according to Dr. Alice von Hildebrand, Dodd told Dr. Dietrich von Hildebrand that he might "worry" about infiltration but that she knew the names of the men in the curia she had helped into seminaries. She went on to say they would be hard to detect because they seemed orthodox but were constantly sowing doubt. So no; her complete testimony was never made public. May Our Lord have Mercy on us all.

  5. "She[Dodd] also claimed that the communist party actively infiltrated agents into seminaries; and she told her friend Alice von Hildebrand, the theologian, that "when she was an active party member, she had dealt with no fewer than four cardinals within the Vatican 'who were working for us'." She did not, however, name the Cardinals or any of the priests she helped into seminaries. You can read Dodd's book "School of Darkness" online for free.
