It's rumored that The Donald would like to reduce FedGov employment by 10 to 20 percent. Since there are horrific union agreements in place (made--like most of those--for the benefit of BOTH 'labor' and 'management',) this may not be an easy task.
However, allowing the 'crats to keep their jobs in another location--well, that's interesting, no?
We all know that Rhinelander, WI, can use some economic development. So how about the entire Department of Education gets relocated there? Employees will have 12 months to move. Don't move? You're off the payroll.
McAllen, TX., could use some help, too. That's an excellent spot for the entire EPA. IRS to Kearney, NE., GSA to Towner, N.D., and BATF/E to Chicago, where they can be close to all the action.
There. FedGov will be a helluvalot smaller, and so will Lobbyist Row.
