Francis Met Kim Davis, Too
It is very interesting that Pope Francis met with Kim Davis and encouraged her, especially since a lot of supposedly "conservative" people have distanced themselves from the matter of queer "marriage."
"Vatican spokesmen" are known to artfully mis-lead. They're better than most, having developed their technique for well over 500 years--or maybe 1,000.
Whatever. Francis knows queer marriage is un-natural at best.
Hi dad ... glad we can have a decent conversation. Here is another link regarding a statement released by the Vatican. Interestingly the Pope met privately with a gay couple just before the "meeting" with Ms. Davis.
I do agree with you about "Vatican spokespersons". Charles Pierce has a piece substantially agreeing with what you say as he speculates about what may have happened.
Actually, word now out the Pope had no idea who she was and did not encourage her. Matt Staver caught lying again.
ReplyDeleteActually, no one has any idea of what the Pope knew or did not know. And no one at the Vatican is telling--no matter the 'sources.'
ReplyDeleteI could provide links that refute that ... rather in the spirit of detente I hope you are well. Truly.
ReplyDeleteRespectfully disagree.
