We note that Da Union is very unhappy about this.
....The majority of Wisconsin state employees don't pay a deductible.
Under the [new] plan, they would pay $250 annually. That amount would double
for families.
Annual maximum out-of-pocket payments would also
increase from $500 to $1,000. Families covered by the program currently
pay a maximum $1,000. That would increase to $2,000....
This is one hell of a generous health plan, far more 'rich' than almost any found in private industry, even in union shops.
Shut up, Marty Beil.
Next step for Wisconsin SHOULD be forcing removal of spouse/partners who are eligible for other health coverage but who utilize this extremely generous Wisconsin package.
