Oh, Really, Ms. Burke?

She's going to be the Todd Akin of (D) candidates.

  1. "According to that quote then, Burke believes parents aren’t the ones best equipped to make choices about their children’s education, that’s the job of government who can apparently “do things better” than parents."

According to that quote? No. She doesn't say that at all.

  2. Of course, the quotation is taken out of context, compliments of partisan politics and binary thinking. While Burke is a tool, she is indicating correctly that state government, by the authority vested by its citizens, has the resources to organize schools in a manner that the AVERAGE parent would have difficulty. Homeschooling works for some people; for most moms and dads, despite its faults, public schools are the avenue to educate their children.

  3. She's going to demolish Scooter and his fantasy of higher office.

You might say she's got a way to shut that whole thing down.

  4. Anony 7:21 p.m. here. The Wisconsin (D)'s are sending out a sacrificial lamb. Sad, but true.

Don't worry, though. Dad29 is rumored to be getting his nomination papers in order. He has all the answers :()

  5. "Burke launched her candidacy after a coalition of liberal organizations held 41 focus groups to identify what characteristics Democrats should look for in a candidate if they hope to win the governor’s race next year."

So 41 focus groups found that the preferred characteristics pointed to this particular one-percenter? Might want to check Burke's liberal credentials just a bit closer, folks. Must be the same political consultants that tried to sell Mitt Romney as a conservative.

Geez, why not just resurrect Tom Barrett and beat that dead horse one more time?
