Copper Straw-in-the-Wind

See the chart at this link.

Copper has always been a reliable econometric canary.

Ticker adduces a bunch of other straws in the post, none particularly encouraging.

At the same time, ECRI's predictor does not signal recession; it's been regularly wobbly--really, non-directional--for several months.

Hmmmmm.

  1. Come on now. I've been following you for years, and you've always been a end-is-neigh kind of guy. You've got to get a bit more specific. At what point are we supposed to start using that ammo? Am I supposed to be on some mailing list? Who am I supposed to shoot? Only those coming for my guns, literally, at my front door? Or should I act pre-emptively and take out elected officials of a certain party? Does it matter if they're at the state or federal level? City? Come on! Tell me! Who am I supposed to shoot and when?

  3. The front end of the horse is "neigh."

The back end is the other commenter, "Jim"

Now, then. WHICH "end" is nigh?

You may fire when ready, Gridley.
