Funny you should post. I just ordered a box of 1000 rds of 5.56 nato for my m-4 and 1000 .40 jhp for my pistols. I have a single point sling on the m4 and also have a 2 point sling. also a 4x32 scope. Need to p/u extra mags and a dump pouch next..
Note that the author recc's a LOW-power scope--like maybe a 1x4.
He's figuring closer-quarter than you are, B. FWIW, a low-powered scope is also MUCH better in low-light conditions (albeit both are useless at night.)
