Jim, Are you referring to the near Trillion dollar Food Stamp bill? If so you are basically saying that the Senate (Democratically controlled) threw the drought victims under the bus because they did not get all the handouts they wanted. This kind of sums up the entire Democratic platform huh? Jack up taxes in a recession or get run over the fiscal cliff in January. Give us money to buy votes and create the biggest dependency group or we'll screw the drought victims. Etc.., Etc..

ReplyDeleteActually, no, they didn't pass THE farm bill. As your linked article explains, they passed a narrow drought relief bill. Not the same thing.
