Congratulations to Boehner/Cantor!!

The marshmallows should be congratulated for their achievement, right?

The Republican-controlled House of Representatives, which took office in January 2011, has enacted federal spending bills under which the national debt has increased more in less than one term of Congress than in the first 97 Congresses combined.

In the fifteen months that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives--led by Speaker John Boehner--has effectively enjoyed a constitutional veto over federal spending, the federal government’s debt has increased by about $1.59 trillion.

I'm sure that our grandchildren will erect a monument to them.  Made out of cowpies.

  2. Dad, we always knew that by only taking the House in 2010 that we would only slow things down. Even when the House has tried to stand firm, they get undermined by the fantastic "leadership" of Mitch McConnell who is complicit in trying to destroy anything resembling fiscal sanity, and Mitchy boy loathes the Tea Party.

They suck, but they suck less than our alternatives at the moment. What we need to do is send them reinforecements in November as well as evicting The Light Worker.
