NC: Thirty-One

The thirty-first State to do so:

North Carolina voters passed a constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex marriage, making it the 29th state to define marriage as between a man and a woman.

The Associated Press declared Amendment 1 passed. With 39 percent of precincts reporting, the measure has 58 percent support.

I expect Obozo's "evolutionary thinking" on the question to evolve backwards quickly.  He HAS to win N.C. to win the election in November, you know.

  1. Guess again!

If this is a tactical move either he's really confident he can win without NC, or his internals tell him NC is already gone. Since the race is pretty tight and the economy not exactly booming, my guess would be that the latter is more likely (especially after the 60/40 split on the vote).

It's possible, though, that he's decided to play it straight on this one. He's been cagily gaming it for so long that John Stewart is mocking him over it, and you know that has to hurt.

  2. I think he is toast in NC. 20% of Dem voters chose "No Preference" over Obama.

  3. Thanks be to God that the homosexual perverts have been defeated this round.

There is now hope for a win on November against Barry and his legions of the damned.
