Thornton Commits Suicide (Metaphorically)

Too bad.  He seemed to be a nice guy.

Superintendent Gregory Thornton's administration Tuesday night laid out a sweeping plan to keep the district financially solvent.

The administration is calling for a variety of changes to benefits, including raising the minimum age and years of experience employees must reach to receive retiree benefits, reducing sick leave payouts, increasing the amount employees must pay for deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance, and increasing employees' premium contribution toward their health insurance.

Hope his resume is up-to-date.
