The Blogspot search engine is deficient.
If you want to find comments on this blog, here's what to do:
1) Go to Google.
2) Enter the following:
+Anonymous [or whatever name you're using] +[topic of comment or text in comment]+dad29.blogspot.com
Then you'll get what you think you want.
Correction AGAIN:
ReplyDeleteApparently blogspot.com comment posting engine doesn't like to recognize "<" or ">" as text.
It only recognizes "<" or ">" as metatag holders/delimiters/definers.
Thus, some of my previous posting was "invisible-ized".
Reposted syntax and explanation sans any "<" or ">" :
Enter the following syntax for your search argument string:
+"SEARCH CRITERIA ARGUMENT 1" +"SEARCH CRITERIA ARGUMENT 2" +"ETC. 3" +site:WEB SITE DOMAIN NAME
Example: +"Saint Revolution" +"MATC" site:Dad29.blogspot.com
...this example returns a list of hits of all Dad29 entries containing both Saint Revolution and MATC (basically, all Saint Revolution comments with the text
MATC in the title/body of the comment).
In other words:
Proper syntax to put into Google search engine "blank" (i.e., search argument field):
+ (i.e., plus sign)
" (i.e., open quotation mark(s))
SEARCH CRITERIA ARGUMENT 1 (i.e., Saint Revolution)
" (ie., close quotation mark(s))
SPACE
+ (i.e., plus sign)
" (i.e., open quotation mark(s))
SEARCH CRITERIA ARGUMENT 2 (i.e., MATC)
" (i.e., close quotation mark(s))
SPACE
continue to add as many SEARCH CRITERIA ARGUMENT(S) contained within quotation marks, preceded by a plus sign, as you wish
SPACE
+ (i.e., plus sign)
site: (the word site, upper or lower case (doesn't matter), followed by a colon)
WEB SITE DOMAIN NAME (i.e., dad29.blogspot.com or www.dad29.blogspot.com (no http:// pretension)
