What Walker Did NOT Do

There's a lot of flapjaw about the eeeeeeeeeeeevil Scott Walker and "union-busting" and "family-supporting jobs"......etc. Ask any yooooooooonion member.

Well, there is an alternative. The city of Central Falls RI also had unsustainable union agreements.

The city went BK.

Flanders, as part of the bankruptcy filing, voided the police, fire and municipal employee contracts and he said he will impose cuts he proposed July 19 on 141 retired police and firefighter pensions to save $2.5 million. He will also begin requiring that retirees and active employees pay 20 percent of their health-insurance coverage.

Flanders said there will be layoffs, but did not give specifics.

The Walker budget INCREASED the number of State employees. Most school districts are NOT laying off teachers. No municipality has yet chopped its workforce.

Obviously, Walker is eeeeeeeeeeeeevil.
