Losing P-Mac, With Notes

When we learned that Pat McIlheran was departing the cheesy shores for the swamp, we mentioned it here.

In the combox, at least one individual stated that P-Mac had been pushed out of the JS.

Not true. But then, alternative-universe dwellers don't need the REAL truth.

  1. Where's the notes?

My (pure) speculation that Paddy was asked to leave is based on only the growing ridiculousness of his writing.

    Bring on the "REAL" truth.

  2. So, tell us about the "ridiculousness" of P-Mac's writings. Which in particular struck you so? I can easily pick them from the likes of Eugene Kane. Whaddayagot Foust?

  3. FOUST calling someone else ridiculous?

    Foust - The ULTIMATE tool.

  4. If a second post is needed, aka circling the wagons, to proclaim that P-Mac wasn't pushed out, then indeed he was asked to leave.

  5. If he WASN'T pushed out, he's even more of a hypocrite than if he left of his own volition.

  6. Why is it hypocritical to leave for a (probably) better gig?

  7. Here's a good summary. Better gig? But he's working for the government.

    I give him three months.

  8. Neomom--Because P-Mac was a critic of people working for the gummint, and now he is on the taxpayers dole...unless Johnson is paying for his services out of his own pocket.
