White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley took heat from business executives Thursday for the Obama administration’s regulatory expansions. Daley also said he didn’t have any good answers for some of what President Obama is doing and expressed frustration about the “bureaucratic stuff that’s hard to defend.”
“Sometimes you can’t defend the indefensible,” Daley said at a National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) meeting.
Daley couldn’t answer basic questions and continually faced criticism from the executives in the room. The business leaders even applauded each other’s criticism of the administration.
Daley was brought in to replace Rahm-a-Jamma, of course, and is there as a "handler" of President Disaster--that is, to stifle Obozo's Marxist inclinations as best as he can, just like Rahm Emanuel was supposed to do.Good luck with that, Bill.
It's nice to know you have an outlet for all your angst.
ReplyDeleteIt beats childish games like locking oneself to an object and hollering "shame, shame!" Or forming a drum circle or getting a bunch of dirty smelly drop-outs to camp out on the capitol lawn. Or even like the childish game of recalling State Senators because one doesn't like their policy.
ReplyDeleteBe very careful of the precedent you set.
Are you advocating that people should NOT exercise their right to demonstrate because YOU think their reasons are "childish"? That would be treasonous on your part.
ReplyDeleteBesides, you just described the actions of our colonists (e.g. protests, removing officials, boycotts), yet you find disdain when the left engages in civil disobedience and dissent.
On the contrary, the colonists engaged in those actions because the British Government was engaging in actions contrary to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Taxation without representation, laws which infringed on property rights and the natural Rights of Man. No such affronts have happened to the smelly hippe-burnouts and wanna-bes in Madison. In fact, they protest because they want to keep the status quo which is an affront to the rights of the taxpayer. I argue that the status quo in Wisconsin local government amounts to taxation without representation. It is collusion between the public sector unions and the school boards/city councils/county boards. The protests in Madison and the ensuing recalls are nothing more than a childish temper tantrum. There are no "Rights" at stake here. Only a big sloppy kiss from the politicians to their union bosses. Sumi's clearly illegal decision is evidence of the way in which the public-sector unions own Democrats.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you're right, Mr. Moral Relativist!
