From a VDH column:

Since his inauguration, the president has lost a point in the polls about every three weeks of his presidency, without much deviation.

The least surprised: TOTUS

"Since his inauguration, the president has lost a point in the polls about every three weeks of his presidency, without much deviation."

Thanks for the citation but it's not only nonsensical, it's provably false. And I'll take your favorite Rasmussen to demonstrate.

According to this chart, the president's approval rating in January 2009 was 62%. At 1% every 3 weeks for 99 weeks, that would be a drop of 33 points to 29%. Rasmussen puts Obama's November favorability at 46%, not 29%. That's a drop of 16%.

As to the nonsense of "without much deviation", Rasmussen shows a drop of 14% in the first 47 weeks and 2% (nearly flat) in the last 52. That would hardly be characterized as "without much deviation."
