Just Co-Incidence

Maybe it IS a co-incidence.

Republicans sweep Wisconsin State elections, then:

An affiliate of a privately held coal mining company is proposing to spend more than $1 billion to develop a large open-pit iron ore mine on an ancient mountain range in far northern Wisconsin.

They expect that the permit/approval process will take about 6 years.

  1. Don't be shy, Dad29. Tell us what sort of environmental concerns and controls you would favor. Tell us where the iron will be sold and who that benefits.

  2. Don't be shy Foust. Tell us what industry would be acceptable to stay in this country? I mean its not like mining and steel employ lots of people at those vaunted "living wages" or anything. Tell us which country you would prefer these jobs to be in.

  6. Sycophants don't ask the tough questions. I do. It's a simple, serious, non-trolling question.

What sort of environmental controls should be in place for an iron mine that close to the Bad River?
