In the Doylet: Wisconsin Jobs

Bad enough that the national UC-filings rate went up.

Even worse if you're in Wisconsin.

The U.S. job market continues to shrink, as the number of initial claims for unemployment insurance jumped 2,000 for the week ending Aug. 7, with Wisconsin posting the biggest increase, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

The largest increases in initial claims for the week ending July 31 were in Wisconsin (+1,901), Georgia (+1,738), Pennsylvania (+1,536),....

Obama will be in town next week to campaign for Barrett four more years of Doyle.
