Gracious sakes alive. How COULD this happen?
During her weekly press conference...Pelosi prefaced her response with a fairly standard litany: explaining the dire state of the U.S. economy inherited by President Obama and setting the blame at the foot of the Bush administration. But she also added this: “When [then-Senator Obama] accepted the nomination in Colorado, the [Bush] Administration had kept from the public the idea that, in a matter of weeks, the financial community would be in crisis, and we would need to pass the TARP legislation.”
Well, not exactly, QueenNancy of the G-5 Jet:
...what Speaker Pelosi failed to mention was that President Bush warned the Democratic Congress 17 times in 2008 alone about the systemic consequences of financial turmoil at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties.
Unfortunately, these warnings went unheeded, as the President’s repeated attempts to reform the supervision of these entities were thwarted by the legislative maneuvering of those who emphatically denied there were problems
There will be a clarification, of course, and QueenNancy of the G-5 Jet will reformulate her response to exclude such itsy-bitsy-teeny-tiny entities as Fan/Fred.
It remains all Bush's fault.
And, of course, this is only the first time that QueenNancy of the G-5 Jet has ......ahh.......prevaricated, right?

the queen is unfamiliar with truth. Kind of like when she added a frightened quaver to her voice, and potificated about the evil tea party talk, saying how she remembered the violence of the 60's and 70's. I guess she forgot that then, as now, it's the left who are commiting the violence.
