Some Sanity Remains

Three "good news!" items of interest.

1) The US Postal Service will issue a stamp honoring Mother Theresa. Not only that, but the stamp:

...will be dedicated September 5 [at] the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. --Postal Service email

That despite a lot of screeching from the Harpies, who also objected to:

2) a cross at the Mojave War Memorial in California – a cross honoring our fallen heroes

The Harpies lost that case at SCOTUS, which reversed a lower-court ruling demanding that the cross be torn down.

3) Finally, in Wisconsin:

...the Madison Surgery Center (MSC) has abandoned its plans to perform late-term abortions.

As you recall, MSC is a JV between UW-Madison Hospital, Meriter Hospital, and the UW Medical Foundation.
