Rich Zipperer would like to know where the Wisconsin "stimulus" money's being spent.
News accounts the last several weeks by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and others have drawn attention to multiple errors and exaggerations in the reports released by the White House of the number of jobs supposedly created by the federal stimulus spending, including jobs allegedly created in non-existent Wisconsin Congressional Districts.
Zipperer and Montgomery have been advocating for legislative oversight of the stimulus spending results since the data became available in early October, and Assembly Republicans have called for enhanced legislative oversight of the stimulus program since January.
Democrats, of course, have ZERO interest in 'oversight.' You get only one guess as to why...
