Maybe it was a really, really, cold day or something, eh?
From the State D of J memorandum (P. 4 in the PDF here):
"Mr. Colon's signature on two of these certifications appears markedly different from [his] signature on the other two pages. Handwriting analysis [State Crime lab] further questioned whether the signatures [were all of Pedro Colon]."
Pedro, who attemped to skewer St. Anthony's School--the largest Choice school in Milwaukee, and part of his district--during budget sessions, is most certainly an honest man.
Right, Pedro??
He's guilty and they threw yadira under the bus.
ReplyDeleteAlso people are saying he would still have had enough signatures... That is incorrect. Given Gab rules all pages of Yadira and Colon... would have been entirely stricken. So instead of losing one or two signatures, he should have lost all on that page. Yadira was three pages. That thirty gone. Plus pedros..... just sign its okay... would disqualify those pages. Under 200.. GAB was wrong!
ReplyDeleteGet your facts straigt. Nothing in the law and rules governing nomination papers would require an entire page to be tossed if only a portion of the page had invalid signatures. Only those in dispute would be thrown out. Maybe you should read ElBd 2.05, 2.07 Wis. Adm. Code. http://elections.state.wi.us/docview.asp?docid=9018&locid=47
ReplyDeleteI think you are right, thanks for the correction, but non the less someone signed 4 peoples name in his presence. That does violate statutes. If anything he's actions and lack of oversight cost tax payers money he should apologize for his less than proffessional or less than honest behavior. Its very shady on his part, he is an attorney and should know better.....Perhaps you should take a look at his own signatures... it doesn't look like his... you don't need to be a handwriting expert to see that. Of course unless you believe no sacred cow can do any wrong...
ReplyDeleteSo, someone's personal signature doesn't look the same every time. So what? Sloppy handwriting is not a crime. As for the other allegations, they are just that. If you read the entire document, people have given conflicting stories regarding the whole matter. Yes, errors occurred but malicious intent or somehow intending to break the law? Please. The memo released by DOJ only gives the prosecution’s side of the story. Correct me if I’m wrong but a person accused always has the right to refute the accusations. If you ask me, it appears politically motivated on the Attorney General’s part. By releasing the memo without allowing Colon to respond is simply unfair and smacks of partisan politics.
ReplyDeleteDear Dumbass:
ReplyDeletePedro has had FIVE FULL DAYS to "respond" to that memo.
Haven't heard a peep.
As to MS. Colon: she's going to trial. Not-guilty-until....yada.
Wanna place bets?
He let someone sign three others peoples names...... less than honest.......Pedro we are still waiting...how do you explain this one?....I bet that they find her guilty on his watch and oversight....
