Frankie B's Letters: More Incredible Incompetence

What's Frankie trying to say here?

Go to the third graf in his letter. Notice the second "sentence"?

This is a letter from a CABINET member of Doyle's Administration?

There is not only that faux pas, but also an issue with basic composition: an overabundance of words. Clear writing is a sign of clear thinking. In college, writing a paper like this would be called "B.S.-ing one's way past the teacher."

  2. Wow, I did not expect it to be THAT bad. What a joke.

Granted not everyone is a grammatical pro but that is appalling.

  3. Maria, your remark is dead-on!

When I was a student, the maxim was "make it shorter" (while retaining the necessary ideas and flow).

If you couldn't de-water your first draft by 25%, you were going to get a ZERO....
