There is not only that faux pas, but also an issue with basic composition: an overabundance of words. Clear writing is a sign of clear thinking. In college, writing a paper like this would be called "B.S.-ing one's way past the teacher."

If you couldn't de-water your first draft by 25%, you were going to get a ZERO....
