The Warrior writes what may be the definitive post-mortem, and demonstrates that Bice was very careful about what text he extrapolated from McBride's emails.
To me, this whole thing is gossip, not "news." But it's clear that 'journoethics' have a long way to go in this town.
So?
ReplyDeleteYou COULD actually remain on-topic. But I suppose that means you are able to read the topic-material in the first place.
I think the ethics anaylsys at the Warrior was mostly well-done but at the end of the day I will tip my scales slightly in favor of the chief.
ReplyDeleteThat's because when the news came out the chief apologized to his wife and to his officers for failing to exercise appropriate leadership.
Jess' response was more CYA.
The chief wins that one.
(Interesting that the word verification below is" squad...lol.)
Would you think it's just gossip if it had been Doyle?
ReplyDeleteYou have a monomaniacal fixation, Anony. Perhaps you should see someone about it.
ReplyDeleteElementary reading lesson: find exactly where my post "defended" McBride.
Then put the text in your next post.
If you can't, STFU.
Anony/Doyle...
ReplyDeleteInteresting question, although it is extremely difficult to imagine a woman.....nevermind.
If it were Doyle instead of Flynn, same "rest-of-the-story" as exposed by The Warrior.....
Yah, gossip.
The fact that McB is a 'journalist' is what makes this less-than-important.
She's not selling S&W's to the cop-shop.
Doyle goes down for money, not favorable press.
Since you're a little slow in the head, Anony, you got deleted.
ReplyDeleteBuh-Bye!
Did I miss something?
ReplyDeleteA bozo, Rag...
ReplyDeletejust another bozo.
This is what happens when you can't keep up, DaddyZero?
