A 22-year-old man beat three other people outside a Milwaukee bar July 11 before one of his friends fatally punched a fourth man, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday.
Robert Kochanski, 22, of Menomonee Falls, had just left the bar, appeared to be drunk and was "acting crazy," even punching one man twice in the head for no reason, one of his friends told police, according to the complaint filed against him.
Kochanski is charged with being a party to three crimes: second-degree reckless injury and substantial battery, both felonies, and misdemeanor battery.
Kochanski's friend, Daniel R. Curry, 22, of Milwaukee, was charged Saturday with felony murder in connection with the killing of 40-year-old Michael R. Ward.
Curry is accused of fatally striking Ward in the head while two other men - Kochanski and Paul J. Kaiser - struggled with Ward's friends
For the murderer, of course, 50 years or life. For the rest, not less than 25. Maybe the sentences should run consecutively.......
I THINK THEY SHOULD HANG THE SON OF A BITCHES! MICHAEL WARD DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE THAT NIGHT, BUT SOME SCUM BAG DECIDED TO TAKE HIS LIFE, AND WITH THAT, TOOK AWAY SONMEONE'S FATHER, HUSBAND, SON, AND AN ALL AROUND GOOD GUY. I SO WISH THEY HAD THE DEATH PENALTY IN WISCONSIN, JUST FOR INSTANCES LIKE THIS. SOME YOUNG PUNKS THAT THINK THE WORLD IS THEIRS FOR THE TAKING. REST IN PEACE MIKE, AND I HOPE THE REST OF THEM ROT IN HELL!!!
ReplyDelete100% agree. Rest In Peace Mike- we will NEVER forget you! <3
ReplyDeleteI just have to shake my head when I read other view points stating that these thugs (Curry, Kochanski & Kaiser) really did not mean to cause harm to Mike Ward and the others that they violently attacked. These idoits commented that the victums should have walked away, or minded their own business. I hope that these thugs not only get the maximum jail time, I hope they also get civilly sued and they pay financially the rest of their lives. This especially is true for Curry (I will not even address him as "Mr." because he does not even deserve the title). I know Mike Ward and his wife very well. It breaks my heart when all 5 girls and his wife will never be the same because some thugs thought it would be a good idea to victimize innocent people.
ReplyDeleterip mike, i worked with mike at sullivan brothers a week before this happened! his tools were still in or tool box. just doesnt seem right. such a sad thing that should have never happened. he was one of the nicest laid back guys, ive met in the construction world. i hope the whole story comes out, if it ever does? if anyone knows when this is going to trial id like to follow this n get some kind of closure, nothing will bring him back though. my prayers go out to his family.
