OMG! Criminals Are In Prison!!

The first question one should ask is "So what?"

Wisconsin's incarceration rate quadrupled over 25 years, rising faster than all but six other states, according to a report released Monday by the Pew Center on the States.

In 1982, 1 in 437 Wisconsinites was in jail or prison. By 2007, the rate had jumped to 1 in 109 residents.

Umnnnhhh... that means that 1% of the State's population are convicts (more or less.)

Let's be happy that it's less than 10%!
