ACORN claims to have registered 35,000 voters in Milwaukee, and admits that a few hundred of those were bogus.
At the same time, the State announced that the new voter-verification system is operative.
Seems to me that it's a good time to run a test!
35,000 is a very large number, after all. Milwaukee has about 650,000 residents; if half of them are over 18 years old, (~325K), then ACORN registered a full 10% of those over 18.
Even if you throw in those who are 17 but will be 18 on Election Day this number still strikes me as way too large.
