Happy New Year?
Yah, well, may your 2007 be blessed, which is better than "happy" but may also be the same.
But then there's this nagging question about Favre...
But Brett got all teary-eyed after the game, and John Madden said that meant Farve was really going to retire, this time. I Wouldn't be surprised to see #4 back, but football's hard on a body, and he's got a family he needs to tend to. I doubt that he's in need of the money..
Yeah, It's New Years Morning, and I still can't spell: Favre. I'll have to make a resolution about that. Maybe even a U.N. Security Council resolution, but it'll likely get vetoed by China or Russia.

ReplyDeleteJimbob--remember Peter Favre, who is a Catholic saint.
ReplyDeleteFollowing the game, a local station caught up with Mrs. Favre. Her take: if he comes back, it's because he absolutely LOVES the game.
If he quits, it's because he absolutely LOVES his family.
Money? Hell--next year's salary for him is $11 million. This year's wasn't much different.
HOpe you have a blessed new year!
