In Ft Myers Lee Health owns all the Hospitals, except one out in the boondocks of Lee county, (farthest from the coast, farthest from population density of the coasts)
They also own many rehab facilities (these are Rebranded Nursing Homes, The name change is just bait to reel you in since the Nursing homes brand has a well deserved rotten reputation of killing their patients and no one in their right mind would want to end up in said facilty
They are buying up nearly all of the local doctor offices practices, so there is no independence or competition available so they can keep the doctors in line and if a doctor shows he has a set cajones and stands up against to medical establishment he can be brought back into line or destroyed by preventing employment in the county
They are building, and owning all of the new Urgent care,neighborhood Doc in a box facilities to better capture their audience and build a better mouse trap
You can not enter any their hospitals or facilities with out showing state ID,
