Mask Nazis Coming
The Mask Nazis are becoming an irritant. That's because they don't read.
I don't even bother anymore. You can't get people to think these days. those who've bought the bullsh*t will not be swayed. I get a few dirty looks at the store due to being maskless, but no one says anything. I have a mask just for going into the Quad pharmacy to pick up my rx. It's policy for that. So I compromise on that one. Other than that, they can suck it. We need to hit Perkins one of these days. It's been too long. :-)
I have to agree with William. Yesterday, after promising myself I wasn't going to try again, I started to post similar arguments on a blog that covers Cali Catholic news. Most not all of what I see in response is "we have to save lives". After getting thru info on virus size and demographics, I just deleted what I was going to post. Folks can't be reasoned with. Heck, folks cant even be talked to...
In this “De facto” civil war, I WANT to see a mask as a uniform. Clothing to show the side a person has chosen. I believe this is true to the extent that wearing a mask is a person’s display of their fear of death, combined with, their willing obedience to human authority. God knows the human heart in ways we can not. So even if masks are the uniforms of those who choose to follow human authority, it is not our task to pass judgment. Be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves. Avoid engagement with the enemy whenever possible. We are given the armor of Christ, but we are not given a cloak of vengeance. Love your neighbor but be faithful to our truth.
Now that both Fauci and WHO have stated that masks are (in effect) a waste of time and virtue-signals, have you any further "thoughts", Anony 1:09 AM??

ReplyDeleteOne Leading Idiot on this is Sean Hannity. I'd heard that his brain-size is extra-tiny......now I know it.
