Milwaukee cops estimate 750,000 peeps were present for the Brewers' parade through downtown and at the destination Summerfest amphitheater. Bartenders at Summerfest estimate that they consumed 250,000 beers at that place alone.
Not surprising.
We made a journey from Mequon to 'Tosa, using I-43 and I-94 to I-41 at about the time the parade was over.
Dumb move. Took about 45 minutes to get from Center St. on I-43 to Hawley Road on I-94. Even with the construction, that's normally a 15 minute drive.
And some of the other drivers were.....ahhhh.....not too cautious, which signaled a potential alcohol problem.
When I was at the age of nine, I was hit by a drunk driver
ReplyDeleteMessed me up good
I hope they arrested as many people as possible for DUI
The potential damage they can do to people is incredible
